The apartment was fantastic, plenty of room. The pool and water slides were a big thoroughly enjoyed by our family and we had a wonderful weekend. Staff were lovely both at checkin/out and over the phone. Great value for money, great 1 bdrm apartment - large, clean and comfortable. Ease of checking in, easy parking, size of the rooms/apartments, location, breakfast as an option/inclusion.
all reviews » The accommodation. Our apartment had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Parking good. The sand pool and spa, the staff were friendly and very tolerant of us and our antics. Really enjoyed the stay, room was huge. Staff were friendly, the pools are epic. Location. Indoor pool. Breakfast included (this determined choice). Pools and resort facilities, free parking, comfortable bed. The facilities were excellent. Location Amazing. I absolutely loved the view!!! 26th floor it was outstanding!! The king bed was also comfy, t.v shows very efficient . Shower was amazing and sitcom in all sections of apartment, very spacious. Considering the pool was closed due to development we still enjoyed the sauna, steam room and spa. The breakfast which was included in our $188 room rate for one night was great. The worst breakfast ever (hot food) and we heard other people complain, especially about the burnt and weird looking bacon and the baked bean mix. Yuk. Expected a warmer welcome. The 'double bed' was 2 singles pushed together, breakfast was bad, not worth $22. Also didnt understand the $20 it costed to get clean sheets after and incident during the night. The carpet in the room was dirty and had a heap of stains. Expected room with balcony. Room not being ready at 2.00 p.m. at check in time. The curtains were only sheer with no heavy curtains to pull at night. Where I live we have no street lighting so it was like trying to sleep in front of a Xmas tree. Room was quite out dated. A couple things needed to be updated. Furniture is abit old school, not much cooking utensils. We felt the price was way over the top for such a basic room. If you are looking for a 4-5 star luxury room this is definitely not your place. The single beds were very creaky, to the point that when you moved it woke the other person up. the smell from the Garbage shute in the corridoor and lift area Bed was a bit saggy on one side - probably time for a new one. Not very helpful staff on weekends. Very tired resort needing a major upgrade to justify the price. Breakfast was below average. The building was looking very tired. The apartment also looked like it needed refurbishing. Hotel room was the size of a cupboard. Would Never book a hotel style room in this complex again. Pools closed for Renovations. :-( Not happy really. The room was pretty run-down and dirty. The bathroom was very dirty, hair in the shower. It was too expensive for the quality of the room. Waterslide closed, bar and restaurant did not open until 5pm, room dirty, "king-size" bed just 2 singles pushed together - very uncomfortable, hotel and room looked old and tired, breakfast not very nice. got Hinterland view after booking Sea view 2 single beds do not make a queen size bed staff were not sighted thank goodness there was a maintenance fellow whoo attempted to fix the shower to no avail probably be still waiting for him to return. Not at all happy. Breakfast bad, old cheap room, gym only had 3 weight machines, elevator took 15+ minutes to arrive. I found the room to be small and very dingy it only had an old TV no wide screan. In the hallway outside the room was an awful smell maybe from the garbage shoot No balcony at all and I felt very hemmed in.
