The staff were fantastic. I forgot my cuff links for a wedding, staff member Jessica was a life saver! She was more than helpfully in getting anything you can ask for. She knows her stuff and if she doesn't, she come back to you asap. I got my two nights at a very good price but it pays to book early because I had a mate that stayed in the same type of room and payed upto 100 more a night. The pool bar drinks are very over price but you get that in a resort, but surprisingly the food isn't an.

Thanks to everyone at the hotel who helped make our day so special. The first room we were booked into was a long way from the main building, on calling reception we were moved (at a slight extra cost) staff very helpful and quick to respond to our request,. good size rooms,Clean and nice bathroom amenities.Grounds and pool well kept. excellent breakfast quality and variety. attentive staff well trained. Loved the beds and the size of the room also loved the lagoon pool and the gardens around the room were very tranquil. Spider webs and bugs stuck to the building and room entry. Rooms could do with a freshen up...starting to look a bit tired. The lagoon pool can do with a makeover. Overcharged on check out on breakfast charges generally checking in and out were poor and last memory a bad taste. Nothing really. Mosquitoes! We were both badly bitten and after a 3 week stay in oz ( and we are meticulous about spraying ourselves every day, this was disappointing; lots of mosquitoes in the room! Also, loud music part going on bt the pool until 1030 ( evening) which we had to report; totally unacceptable. Not at all peaceful. Paying for wifi at a 5 star hotel!? Totally unacceptable and seems very 'cheap' in attitude. The pillows The room was located too far from the main hotel and was located to close to the services road of the marina, so it was noisy. Meals expensive. Nothing. Outdated and run-down. Only there 2 days. It is tired We had to move room in the middle of the night as toilet running Maintenance poor. Lights not working etc. The resort is tired and ready for a makeover. Car parks are too far from rooms. trying to get to was awkward for first time without own transport. For an average family just too exspensive. Charged $99 for internet access! Not enough hangers in the cupboard. Could do with a full length mirror in the room or bathroom. took ages to get hot water in the shower. overall the hotel made a jaded impression; is in need of major investment ; outside areas were grubby, untidy and stained -a major clean up is needed especially the paths,walls,lawns and borders; no safe in room;hanging space for clothes was inadequate;pay extra for internet and water:. When booking a standard room it would be helpful if we were given the option to choose twin singles, twin doubles or king size as the pictures show a king size bed when I booked but I was stuck with twin singles which was disappointing. Also the pool bar wasn't opened which was very disappointing as I was looking forward to cocktails by the beautiful lagoon pool. 1)The noise from the neighbours returning to the building after midnight. 2) The bed is too soft 3) No extra blankets. My room was so dated and tired. There were cracks in the plaster, broken tiles in the bathroom and general need of major refurbishment. It was dirty too. There was mold in the shower and dirt and dust accumulated in all corners of the room. My sheets also weren't changed at all in the 4 nights I was there and on the last morning there was no hot water in the shower. Not at all fitting of a 5 star status. Room was dated. dirty toilet seat old and dated rooms shower needs good clean or better still ripping out and new one installed.
