Lovely place and the rooms have just been upgraded & styled. King bed was awesome & the TV with DVD surround system has been mounted in the perfect spot on the wall for bed watching. Full size fridge & Microwave It is also situated in a lovely place across the road from the Murray river with a park & all the locals take their dogs for a play in the afternoon, so if you love dogs you can have a play with happy friendly pooches throw a ball with them, have a drink with the dog own.
all reviews » The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Very approachable, informative and enthusiastic about the local area. Maps obtained for free from the reception desk helped us to navigate not only Corowa but other surrounding areas. Throughly enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend to others. The Rooms were very clean and the owners were fantastic . We used the facilities [BBQ] and were surprised that all the gear to cook with and plates / knifes and forks were supplied including salad bowls ect . The breakfast was hot,and large Could not have asked for anything more , excellent in every way. Hard not to like any thing at Murray view. Just far enough from town, near the golf club who serve a great meal. Very clean and comfortable and the salt pool is very welcoming.We've found a new weekend getaway. Can't fault much as the upgrades to the room was great. its a bug bear of mine and its the same in most motels, coffee cups are always to small 2 mouthfuls and its gone maybe a couple of mugs for us that like to enjoy a long cuppa. There was nothing about the motel we didn't like. Highly recommend if you want a quiet and peaceful getaway. This is not a massive problem but the parking area outside the rooms is made up of loose stones that are quite noisy when walked on or cars drive on. It certainly won't stop me staying there again. Could not fault our stay. No mats exiting shower. Everything was great. Nothing. nothing. Staying 3 nights meant I wasn't leaving early and found the hot water ran very low if I was late into the shower... as in I didn't have to turn the cold on at all the first 2 mornings and the first morning was uncomfortably cool. The stones make a lot of noise when guests come in late. all good. Poor signage and lighting by Corowa council.
