The rooms were comfortable, and quite spacious for families. Everything was available for us in the room if we needed these facilities. Would certainly stay here again - hoping the hoons aren't around on the outside streets, and also the building next door will be finished!. Location of Hotel was very good, we had a two bedroom apartment which had the two bathrooms, washing machine and dryer also kitchen and lounge area, we could not have asked for more as we were two separate couples using the room.
all reviews » The ambience of the hotel was very relaxed. I didn't get the opprtunity to use all the leisure facilities, but it looked good. Yes I liked the hotel. I would like to come back to sightsee instead of attending a conference. Great place staff friendly. Room very comfortable. Luxury room which means what I have at home. Took grandkids just very comfortable, very close to city centre. Would recommend to anyone it can cover your needs. Efficient, friendly & helpful staff who gave clear directions to nearby public transport and shops. The free Wifi in the foyer was also handy. Clean, comfortable rooms well maintained. Good airconditioning. Spacious living areas, large kitchen, great heating and towels were big and fluffy!! Pool and Spa were nice and warm!!! A very comfortable and safe place to stay with a one year old. Close to shops and food!'. My family arrived at 2.30 p.m. on the Saturday, and the room was not ready. Very loud traffic and also a loud party on the balcony below them. When I booked I thought that I had actually booked a twin room, because for the $500 said two people sharing which we were, but we didn't realise it would mean a double bed for a couple which we were not. I guess that was my only complaint. No free wifi in rooms. We were glad we asked for a quiet room on the eighth floor as the main road was noisy during peak times. However this was not a problem with the windows closed. Our shower had a leak onto the floor in main bathroom. The bathrooms were old but clean. There is building work next door which started very early. We were also put in a room at the back just above the Macdonalds drive thru which was very noisy and woke us on 3 seperate occasions - there should be some form of warning that it maybe noisy or you allocate these rooms as a very last resort. $15 parking fee per day. Don't mind having to pay for parking, but when you pay the price that Adina charges, I think that throwing in parking is not to much to ask. Cannot say that I did not like anything about the Hotel. we were there with other people but we couldn't get to their room as they were on a different level and you need there key for the lifts.Don't get me wrong great security in a way. Had a 3rd floor appartment and could hear the street noise. I didn't like having to pay such high rates for Internet use when the room rates were already high. Appartments were clean though required some basic and ongoing maintenance, looking a little worn around the edges. With small children the glass tables and sharp bedside lights were not ideal and the tv not mounted on the wall was at times a bit scary. Our lighting took ages to come on and the second bedroom with two single beds inside was tiny. Would have been nice to be advised of the works happening next door, bit hard to sleep with all the noise early in the morning. They offer tea and coffee but not enough sachets of sugar. 5 sachets in total. Nothing we didn't like. A little noisey from motor bikes but what can you expect at such a location. If possible a hand rail in the spa/shower would have been appreciated. Need more than 1 luggage trolley. The only thing wrong was the construction work going on during the day. furnishing a bit outdated, pillows could be better. None. No free wifi as had been in other places we stayed. The rooms were not in good repair and needed a good clean. Curtains hanging off the rails.The second bedroom was very small and had nowhere to store cases or clothes. We are not used to city accomodation so were surprised at the $15/day car park fee. Electric sockets had been pushed into the wall - possibly a danger/hazard. My partner complained about it being noisy during the night with all the party goers at McDonalds. One couple had single beds, just thought a 2 bedroom apartment would have had 2 double beds. To be honest I can't think of anything we didn't like. Maybe if we'd been able to stay longer something might have annoyed us! But as it is, we really liked the place. Billing arrangement I pre paid but received an extra pre authorization now waiting for my bank to release the money. I have travelled the world and this has not happened. No breakfast option although mentioned ... No second key available. Second room was too small for two adults with luggage. lift access to only the floor you were booked on made it difficult to meet with my sister who was on a different floor. $15 per night parking fee was a surprise... Bath Towels not changed when left in the bath???. second bedroom had just enough room for 2 single beds, no space for luggage, wardrobe hardly accessible. not suitable for adult travellers. Some other guests had no idea about how to behave at the pool. No problems!. Couldn't get the printer working in the main reception area. Staff couldn't work out the problem either. The lounge room furniture was uncomfortable. The pillows were uncomfortable. The room was really noisy, sounded as if the windows and doors where not shut, when they where. The second room was very small. We were dissappointed that the washing machine didn't work and the dryer was slow and unreliable as this was one of the main things that we required for our stay as we were there for a sports carnival. There was nothing I didn't like.
