ability to prepare own meals. outside courtyard. closeness to Manuka Coles, petrol station, banks and great shops. right near Canberra avenue so direct access to places of interest on either the east side or west side of the Lake. prompt friendly service to replace burned out light bulbs and a dodgy cupboard hinge. cleanliness of all items. spare towels, quilt cover and plenty of coat hangers. code to get into building. sms on accessing room on arrival.
all reviews » The apartment had everything you needed. It was close to the airport and you could'nt hear the planes. The bathroom was very small but very clean as was the kitchen. It was a very quiet complex. I would return again and a nice touch with fresh fruit on the table. Beds were comfortable overall good value for money. Email 2 days prior to arriving provided all the necessary information for a late check-in (6:00pm), including accurate directions to the site. We reported 3 minor problems (missing dinner plate, broken floor tile in bathroom & failed shower head washer) All were rectified within 1 hour. It was nice to have a swim in the pool after 7 hours driving. We didn't meet any staff as we came late and departed early. I liked the fruit bowl, never seen any before in a hotel room. The room was clean and well set up with a kitchen including microwave, hot plates cooking gear etc. Bed was reasonably comfortable and the air-con worked well. We would stay again. Didn't see staff but they had obviously been and it was all highly efficient. Liked having the little courtyard w. BBQ even tho we didn't use it.. Bed comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Quiet , close to bus stops, clean & smelt clean too,'plenty of linen, & cooking facilities. warm & TV available. No comment on staff because we did not see any. Just a one night stay for onward travel and it met our needs well. Apartment was very clean and the location was central to all places we needed to visit. Easy check in, the size of the unit and amount of towels & extra linen. Very clean and reasonably comfortable. All the necessities. Easy to book. Well equipped room. Excellent value for money. Spacious with a good kitchenette. Good BBQ. Good parking. The extras were a nice touch, e.g. fruit and Bikkies. Clean and tidy Central position Friendly staff. Size, cost, quietness, close to buses. Price and location were good. Was a very clean apartment. location, clean, tiny. Neat and clean. Reasonably quiet, close to transport, close to Fyshwick Markets. Value for money. Kitchenette and facilities. Very roomy with separate sleeping area. microwave. double bed rather than a bigger one. staff assigned to rooms did not replace coffee and tea - had to pinch some more off the trolley in the hall. Nothing. Bathroom was a little dated but everything worked so not a real problem. Would like a bedside table on both sides of bed. HATE UHL milk pots!. nothing. The oven didn't work - the staff gave us instructions but I think there was something wrong with the controls. Couldn't park close to unit & it was raining. Whilst these are only minor things I found the clock radio had faulty numeral so could not set alarm. Microwave had a faulty power switch which made it hard to adjust power setting and fan would oscillate but would not start for several minutes,. The email didnt tell me what room number i was in but the staff were awesome when I rang them for information. There was quite a bit of plumbing noise from others apartments. No elevator. Had to have a car to get around (however this may be more of a Canberra problem). I was worried that there was no one there to let me in but it was not a problem. Step into bathroom, poor mobile phone cover. Car parks were a long way from our unit and therefore a long way to carry luggage (also had to open and close locked doors along the way). A little dated. self service. I was given the wrong PIN number so had difficulty accessing my unit. The staff member I called was helpful and the problem was sorted. Poor instructions on how to get there by public transport. A little odd that staff was totally invisible. Did not realise it was self check in, even though a SMS was sent with a code. Had difficulty finding building even though it was clearly signed. The outdoor area was not as nice as the photos showed. Old and showing it. Office Hours inappropriate for business travellers arriving late and leaving early. Like all Canberra accommodation - overpriced compared to other capitals (and even more inflated when Parliament in session). small room, double bed, impersonal, nowhere to sit to watch tv.
