We found the staff to be both extremely helpful and hospitable throughout our stay. Although our apartment was situated closest to the traffic lights, we found there to be no troubles with noise whilst we were staying at Corrigans Cove. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend Corrigans Cove to others. I like the layout of the rooms and the fact that it's close to the water front for a nice stroll and that you can walk to the local club for a nice meal... Perfect for a business trip. The breakfast is also very nice and relaxing by the pool.
all reviews » It was a very relaxing experience in a beautiful spot. The Managers were very helpful and friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. The apartment was very well appointed with all facilities to make the stay memorable. We were spoilt by Vickie and Jeff who offered us a room with an enormous balcony and great view. The room was quite spacy and ticked all the boxes for a young newly married couple. We'd definitely stay here again!!. Friendly staff who suggested several locations for dinner and directions to Mogo Zoo. Accommodation was only 3k. to Batemans Bay. Basic but sufficient Continental breakfast included in price. We were not a couple but two friends, it provided two bedroom accommodation and shared cooking/living. It was very well equipped and it was suitably located from Canberra for us. Whilst our trip was only for an overnight stay, Corrigans Cove provided a very good standard of accommodation and light breakfast. We would definitely stay here again. Lovely,spacious room. Comfortable bed. Easy access to pool and breakfast area. Lovely area to go for a walk and close to town for restaurants etc. Friendly staff. We loved the buffet continental breakfast by the pool. Very comfortable bed and great facilities for longer stay. The room we had was too small so the manager happily changed us to a bigger one, she was very helpful love the place. Having a free breakfast was good with the cooked breakfast an affordable extra. I couldn't fault it, I love staying at Corrigan's Cove. Nothing. Wished we could have stayed for longer!. All units face a somewhat busy road which does not make getting to sleep easy. The stairs, I prefer the option when booking to select upstairs if possible, although I probably could have added it to the special requests. I had just had knee surgery and there were stairs everywhere. Nothing. Better cereals at breakfast would be nice(muesli for example) and better coffee. The solar heated pool was warm enough to swim in BUT only just, any later in the year and it wouldn't be. No complaints. Room pillows were too hard and office closed after 6pm so we couldn't ask for change. Room was noisy due to passing traffic and curtains did not blackout early morning light sufficiently. Room got quite cold overnight and split system air conditioner was a bit noisy. There was only one small mirror in the bathroom not that I am vain but they could put in a bigger mirror in 105. Breakfast ends at 9. Too early. Pool is smaller than looks on website but still fine. Radio was hard to turn on and off, power point was hard to get to. A little bit pricey. Stairs with young kids - a minor concern. No problems at all. Walking up stairs to the rooms and the bedroom. no napkins at the tables when breakfast served (saving money?). We had a two bedroom unit and i didn't like that I had to go downstairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Also we had lots of ants in the kitchen. Hard to control I know but annoying. The mould on the edge of spa And the dirty floor. No restaurant. stairs. The giant cochroach on steriods that kept my son company in bed. Just as well he never saw his bed buddy because he would have been traumatised for life. Could have got full breakfast for the price we paid.. Or at least fresh fruits and some pancakes.. bathroom and in particular the shower area was in poor repair and looked a bit grubby. Continental breakfast options limited. General sense was the apartment did not look or feel like 4 star apartment. The room looked like old. Paid a $160 a night for a room with only a bed and an ensuite, could have stayed home and locked ourselves in our bedroom for the same experience. we watched TV on the bed, ate our takeaway meal on the bed, did everything on the bed. not a happy experience. will never go their again. I have no idea how this place got a four star rating - it didn't appear to be self-rated. It's clean and that's all it had going for it. Basic, basic facilities and tired old everything. Way overpriced. Cleanliness. Balcony had food on it from the night before. Wasn't pleasant. Units not serviced daily no change of towels. Unit had unpleasant smell it seemed from range hood. No availability of computers other than wifi. Very steep outside stairs for first and second floor so not suitable for moving heavy luggage especially for elderly people. no lift available.
