This is our second stay at Kacy's. On checking in were greeted by a very friendly lady, first impressions sure count & my wife & i were not disappointed with our stay here. All staff just great. Lovely sea views from our unit which was very comfortable. Our dining experience here once again was just amazing. Restaurant menu, the selection incredible & the food Michelin quality. Wow, for a small seaside village to have such a high quality Chef(s) is a huge bonus to this very d.

We were in the industry for 20 years before retirement and appreciate the finer points of hospitality. at the time you were having the building re-painted and having the right tradesmen with people skills on site is always an important asset, and you painter is excellent and kept inconvenience to a minimum. Loved the position and the lay out of the vicinity around the units including the variety of food outlets and other stores. Not commercial. A very relaxing place to take a break. All the staff we met were very nice. Loved it! Would go back any time. Thank you all!. I loved that my room was over looking the ocean so I could go to sleep listening to the waves and wake up the same way. Then I could have my cup of tea watching the world come awake on the strand. Beautiful :-). Everything was great meal was very nice, it was good to see young obviously new staff being trained in the restaurant and given a start. Like the menu but it does need a change ... were local and dine often. The location and facilities were pleasant, my room was always well presented and spotless upon my return. The food at Kacys restaurant was good, a little highly priced though. Fantastic location right opposite the beach. The bed was very comfortable so slept well. Cafes and bars close by. Would definitely stay at this motel again!. Convenience of location, great views, clean room and bathroom, privacy well thought out. Would stay there again but hope the restaurant service improves. The staff were really friendly and happy to go out of their way to assist you. Proximity to everything is wonderful - walking distance to everything. This is a sensational place to stay . In the middle of all the good stuff .We had a fantastic stay at Kacy's Bargara and would highly recommend it . Comfortable rooms, lovely big balconies with easy chairs overlooking the beach. Walking distance for restaurants, bar etc. and to the surf beach. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the location of the property is fantastic and the food in Kacy's restaurant is to die for!. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The meal in the restaurant was superb. Great ambience in the bar. The pool is in a great postition. Off street parking. Easy access to rooms. Cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent. Checking out. not a complaint, but feel the double bed in our unit needs to be replaced in the not too distant a future. Room 205. The unit we were in (103) was rented out as a family. I believe it is not possible for most families to eat out for every meal. It would have been good to have a toaster and microwave. Other than that, we were completely satisfied. N/A. One thing we did notice was the difficulty getting the door handle to turn very hard to turn (R301) would be very hard for and elderly person. From my experience staff were more attentive and friendlier to ‘locals’ more so than ‘out of towner’s’. Staff would benifit from some Hotel level Hospitality training. Restaurant. The food, when we eventually got it was good but the service was very bad. None of the staff seemed to know who was doing what and we had to ask a couple of times for a drink. My partner didn't get what he had ordered but, in view of the time we had to wait to get our meal, settled for what he got - which was nice but hardly the point. Restaurant not open on Mondays but a couple of options across the road for breakfast. No lift. They actually took full payment as soon as I booked. Lucky I had the money in the account. I book through letsbookhotel.com now as I normally don't need to pay until I get to the place. Wifi wasn't so good. Nothing really. Couldn't see the ocean for the trees. My room's (205) A/C did not work. No bottled water in the fridge. The bathroom needs ventilation. There car park is not under cover and our new car got COVERED in bird poo, the ocean view was very limited due to the palm trees in the pool area and a large toilet block across the road. Nothing. Need ice in freezer. That the room attendant didn't give us clean towels even though we asked for them on the second day and all of our cups. There wasn't one thing I didnt like . we ate in the restaurant and while all the staff where great we felt that the meal (Sea Food platter for 2) was way over cooked and probably a little over priced for what it was. Soft bed. Rooms desperately need a refurb. Car parking. The rattle in the air-con vent and we felt the room was a little on the standard side, not quite as flash on the inside as it seems on the outside, leaving us a little disappointed. No spa available in any rooms. Having to carry a heavy suitcase up to the top floor. Nothing! Would definately stay here again. Meal prices are quite expensive at the resturaunt. nothing. The ice shop around the corner closed too early and opened too late. doing 2 or 3 trips from the car up stairs to the room just to carry our bags etc. Our bill was paid in full on tuesday but the money they took for security still was not refunded to me by the Friday was disappointed as I had to sorce money from else where to pay other accommodation while on holidays -- not a very good thing very upset !!!. Beds and pillows are never like at home. Probably a bit over priced for what you get. Service in the restaurant was very slow. The mattress in the main bed was absolutely hideous. Both my husband and I could hardly walk from back pain the next morning - it totally ruined our sleep and therefore our experience at the hotel. Purely for this reason we would not stay here again. we wanted dinner in the restaurant - no effort to let us eat before 8.30 - take it or leave it attitude.
