Everything was great The owners were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the cheaper rooms with shared facilities, The beds were very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. It is also situated in a lovely quiet area. I loved the large Queen size bed, it was so comfortable. I also appreciated the Family kitchen area and laundry. the service was really great, clean towels and coffee and tea was well provided for whenever we wanted more.
all reviews » That I had a possible late check in and they txt'd me with room details and where key would be and were happy for me to pay next morning. Very trusting and obliging something that is getting less and less these days. Jan was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very good and clean. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom and were very impressed. Kitchen/ lounge facilities are great. Clean, comfortable, cheaper than close tourist resorts, excellent food, wonderful local beaches. Very quiet. Close to local tourist attractions. Good value, clean, nice décor and felt like someone had put a personal touch into the place. I would stay here again. Clean well decorated rooms, great location ( very quiet) but close to everything. Staff really great, very friendly. The staff were incredible and the room so well layed out and spotless. Would stay there again. Nothing wrong with the motel it was my fault for chosing budget accommodation. Close to main street and walking distance to all shops, river walks etc. Quiet area. Nothing too fancy, but ideal to spend a night during a trip by car. The staff is very nice, and the establishment is very clean. Queen room has pleasant size, parking inside the hotel. Location, relatively clean. The weather was a bit cold and wet. no reflection on the accommodation. we were cozy and warm inside our room at all times. The room could possibly be hot in summer with only a fan. We weren't there in summer so it was great. Some rooms did not have on-suite, but that was made clear when booking. Nothing. Nothing. No telephone or telephone book. No biro or writing paper. a small thing but I would like mugs not thosse tiny cups; but excellent moted, value for money!. Fridge/freezer was not effective despite being turned to fully cold. Room was a bit dark and small. Room too small for 3 people. Bathroom too small..Limited parking space. No insect screen on side window. I don't know why our room is unbelievablely not installed with Air Conditioner?! What's more, no breakfast is catered, but the statement in website is that, a continental breakfast is catered, so I checked with the staff, but she replied sorry we can't provide due to your low price... Landlady blame us for very late arrival despite the fact, that bookings.com email and room materials stated that we arrived on time. I was really shocked by her reaction including the style of her apologize next morning when I confronted her with materials in room. Small room, no wi fi, no patio as advertised, unfriendly warning notes, tv listed to local channels, poor excuse from Management when asked about wi fi ,,,, this was a Lowe quality room for a high price. $109 for the night. Very poor!. Poor customer & communication skills from owner.
