We loved the location as it was close to the beach and also great shopping, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland was also readily available. The staff were excellent, no trouble talking to you about anything and they were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to see. The location one street back from the main road was a bonus as you did not get the road noise. Loved the Pool, Sauna and Spa facilities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The owner managers where very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and reasonably well maintained, the location was an easy walk to the beach or shops, restaurants etc. Also as stated on the net very quiet as away from main road. We thought it was great value for money and we would happily recommend Headland Gardens to others for a great place to stay. Excellent location very close to the beach and all local amenities. Lovely clean well equipped apartment, has everything you could need in it. The on site managers were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Anne the onsite manager was so lovely and friendly. The pool was a perfect temperature and the gardens were lovely. It is one block from the beach and an easy walk through a walk way to Alexandra Headlands Beach. Unfortunately we arrived & they had double booked our room out, but the very nice lady put us into another set of apartments just around the corner on the esplanade for the same price. Lovely spacious, clean, modern units. Beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Very handy to everything. Ann, the owner, is soooo lovely, helpful and friendly - enjoyed meeting her and chatting. After the apartment we stayed in on the Gold Coast which was dated this was wonderfully modern, clean and comfortable. It was great value for money especially for a family. But having said that these apartments are privately owned and this is up to the owners and not the people who run them. Perhaps a check on the equipment could be implemented, to make sure things work properly. But that is the only fault that we could find with facility. No ocean views- the Headland Gardens Holiday Apartments is one block from the beach. Arriving to find we had no room, but the lady was very apologetic & found us another room just around the corner from them. Absolutely nothing - looking forward to getting back there! :). Nothing, really. Everything worked well for us. The fact that you could only go in the spa for 10 mins and then it wouldn't work again lol. Screaming young girls in the swimming pool. Sadly you get that where ever you go and the unit is close to a pool. Bed in main bedroom was a bit small, maybe put a queen size instead of double. Could do with a small clothes line in back area to save using dryer. Nothing. Pillows in all rooms weren't the best. The stairs. It was a hot weekend but the unit was hot - needs air conditioning. We were on top floor and the stairs proved to be too challenging for knees and heart. Old kitchen, bathroom. Pool could have been wammer. Our unit had rather uncomforable beds, and uncomfortable lounge. The lack of adequate window coverings let too much light in at night, and in the morning when the sun came up. Some of the cooking utensils not really suitable for the electric cooktop. We have stayed here before in a different unit which was better equiped and it was a little disapoining since we were expecting higher level of fittings.
