We would really want to thank the reception staff for their help! They have all been really friendly, helpful and professionnal! They booked us the Whitsundays Boat Tour litterally at the last moment (we had not thought of booking all that in advance) and they kindly kept our luggage and our car parked at their place for 3 days while we were away! They also helped us with our next hotel booking in Port Douglas (our next road trip stop). This Hotel is excellent! It's clean, confortable and nicel.

All of the staff were extremely helpful and all requests for information were followed up efficiently and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. They allowed us to store our luggage on two occasions saving us the trouble of finding somewhere to store it whilst we went off on other adventures.. They made our stay in Arlie Beach a pleasure and we would strongly recommend this place to all travels for value and friendly service. Lovely people, good location to Abel Point, circa 15 minute walk. Good value and stored our luggage for free when we went on our Diving trip. Has an outdoor BBQ area, we didnt use as only here a short while but everything was clean and far enough away from the strip of Airlie to be quiet but close enough to stumble home if required. We had a very pleasant, cosy and relaxing stay at this family-run business. Some of the facilities show it is a romantic place that has been here way before Airlie Beach became commercial i.e. the pooltable and the payphone. The rooms are very clean and up-to-date, so is the pool. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. -Location is better than other more expensive hotels. -Staff very friendly and helpful. -Room was clean and comfortable. -Barbeque is in use in the garden. The lady was very welcoming and helpful in making our stay there pleasant. The room had everything available for a self contained stay. It was ridiculously expensive and It looks a backpacker accommodation. Besides there's not staff overnight. Bathroom/wetroom good but it all stayed wet for a long time. Drainage could be better. Comfortable room but an odd shape so felt a bit cramped. Thin walls; bed moved too easily and noisy when sitting on it. The walk back up the hill, but you can put up with it. Sometimes it sounded like the guests in the unit above were stomping around - maybe they were!. No issues to report. WIFI receptionion was poor and not usuable at all. Nothing to complain about. Could do with a bit of modernisation. Furniture a bit tired. Driveway was very steep, we bottomed out in the car. The rooms were tiny and I believe over priced. We called the phone several times on the day prior to check in but never got an answer. The young couple my wife and I travelled with (my niece and other half) paid extra for a studio room and got a room only a little bit bigger in size from ours.
