Anna was very friendly. she made me feel part of her family. She let me sit upstairs in the lounge even though I checked out waiting for my daughter. I felt very comfortable there, and it was very warm and friendly. I will definitely recommend it, and I would stay there again.. Thanks for letting me have a good experience,.
Staff were excellent and most accommodating, very close to the city
centre, but you do have a bit of a steep walk up the hill on the way
back to the hotel. Breakfast is typical European with cereal, pastries,
and sweet breads, plus tea/coffee. Would recommend as we stayed here
before and after the boat trip..all reviews »
Suited me perfectly whilst I wait for my ship to the Antarctic - so much so that I have booked this hotel fofor my two day stay upon my return.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the Av. San Martin and the main Ushuaia blocks.
Location spectacular. The telescope on the third floor to check out the city. Awesome! Very inexpensive.
The staff was accommodating and friendly. Alo, the hotl's central location was convenient.
Welcoming staff, a little pricey as all the things in Ushuaia.
Very centrally located, great view from breakfast room.
Great view of harbour from the restaurant.
just a few blocks to the main street; great view from the breakfast room.
friendly helpful staff.
Location was in the city central, which most people like.
Location is good.
THE bathroom/shower/bathtub. I was walking with a cane, and it was very difficult for me to shower. bath was out of the question.
Room was too hot, as you are unable to control the heating, but then I
like a colder room.
No significant problems during our stay.
There isn't always someone at the front desk. If you stay there, make sure you ask for a key to the front door. The room was small.
The bed had a lumpy, caved in mattress. Also, the central heating was set too high, making the room as hot as an oven.
The windows didn't have blinds, thus the morning light often woke us up.
The staff do not speak English.
triple room was not very big nor comfortable.
water pressure in showers very very low.
Room was in poor condition. The breakfast was not very good. We stayed
in the Via Rondine before the voyage, and they had the same type of
breakfast but the quality, variety, and flavor was much better. When
making the reservation online, it gives you the impression that you are
paying for it at that time. However, when you get to the hotel, you find
that that is not correct, and they take Mastercard and cash only. Pretty
inconvenient. I definitely do not recommend this hotel!.
The furnitures are very old and tired, the rooms are very small. It is
difficult to find a receptionist especially in the morning.
