  It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. The hotel has 12 rooms, they're very spacious, comfortable and clean, breakfast was lovely. The Ilum is one of the nicest places we have stayed and we have travelled extensively.   This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. So convenient not only because of the location but the apartments themselves are large and comfortable. The staff always very helpful and the free breakfast is great.My only complaint about this hotel would be that the rooms definitely need to be updated.   Room is nice and clean. 10 -15 mins walk to Jumbo supermarket which is very useful for grocery shopping. It is near Gorge new berry airport 5-10 mins by taxi. The area is nice and safe as it is a residential area with lots of apartments. - Self catering clean

  Once we moved to Hotel Suites and Lofts 1 (the loft-one of the twohotels), the staff was very helpful, the hotel very clean and the valuefor money good. Especially the staff needs mentioning here. However,this does not apply to Hollywood Suites and Lofts 2 (the suites-tower)!!!!
