  The staff went out of their way to make my stay fun. They gave good restaurant tips and helped me book other travels . They spoke good English , I speak little Spanish . The pool was small but refreshing after a full day of walking in the heat! - The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I arrived 1am and the staff was waiting for us. The room has kitchen supplies, the location is surrounded by restaurants, pubs and the Flea Market.   It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time.
