Located a short walk to upper broadway which is jam packed full of
everything u could ask for. Everything !! short walk to the #1 subway
line which takes u all the way down to battery park. There are
housing projects directly behind thebuilding, but there was no
trouble at all & that just added to the whole atmosphere of
staying in ny. They put on several events on each day & night so
u get to meet a lot of other travelers & explore in a group.

Everything the place was perfect..the owners were the most genuine people I've met in the industry on my visit so far around the states..they were so helpful you honestly couldn't ask for more.. nice quiet surroundings felt like I was at home!.... no seriously guys in 46 and thus hostel was for everyone ..facilities were great and shopping center

This place can only be as good as the people who stay there - the walls
between rooms in the sleeping area don't reach the ceiling and every
sneeze is audiable to everyone (you can't hear check-in counter or
lobby area, as they are in a different room). During my stay, the hotel
was fully booked and the guests were backpackers from Canada, us and
Europe. All guests were very quiet and considerate of others. I usually

The whole place has a very wonderfully wholesome spiritual appeal. The
owner is a self-made entrepreneur and has been successful with four
domiciles just like this one. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful
and a fantastic departure for anyone who has never spent time in the
Bronx. You'll pay half-price here compared to anywhere else you
might stay in the Bronx.

For the money we paid it was really good. New york hotels are expensive! For this price u cant expect that much. The hotel is situated in 2 minutes from subway station, it was very good for me, because i came to NY to visit different places.
the kitchen was very clean and there was all kitchenware. In two minutes from hotel there is a very nice shop with all needed products and a good fridge where you can put the products.
The cleening was very good and in the room everything was working.
The governance of the hotel was very responsive and helped us with solving all problems we had.

They do not have elevator, the internet is only in the lobby and the breakfast is too simple, but almost all of this are cited in the hotel description. Friendly guys at reception, possibility to leave suitcase there after check-out (for $4), there was even breakfast included in the price (very very basic though, but all I need in the morning is a coffee to get me going :-), easy to meet fellow travellers (the people staying there were all really communicative and friendly and interesting to talk to) in the lounge, which is the only place to get free wifi on your mobile or laptop in the hostel
