  This hotel is amazing and we wouldn't hesitate staying here again.The rooms are big and the beds are extremely comfortable.We didn't see,or have problems with, any homeless people outside the hotel,not even when we came back late one night.There are however a lot in Union Square during the day who can be quite aggressive.The Serrano is in a perfec... τι λέει ο κόσμος » t location and it's easy to get to most places.The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you.We ate in Jaspers a few times.It is expensive but the - 1) Our Room - 1508 2) The Gorgeous Italianate Lobby- a Great Place to Be and I think you are monopolizing on it well 3) Happy Hour in the lobby - not just for the free wine but opportunity to socialize with other travellers and business folks, 3) Morning Coffee/Tea available in the Lobby 4) Prior to arrival - excellent assistance and advice from staff over email (Gabriela) 5) Arrrival and Stay - excellent assistance and very very pleasant helpful staff who were a joy to cha

  I highly recommend The Donatello. The staff was cheerful and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The added bonus of having a smoking room where we could leave the window open without giving up our privacy was a major convenience. The kitchen extras; microwave, refrigerator, plates, etc., allowed for flexibility with our differi... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ng breakfast and snack schedules. - everything! staff is very helpful, pleasant and efficient. rooms are very comfortable, nicely decorated and above all very practically designed: you find everything you need where it should be. location is superb. one of the best hotels i stayed in in a big city. in the meantime i stayed twice in this hotel.

  1) η θεση του ξενοδοχειου. 2) το δωματιο. (θέα, μεγάλος χώρος, άνεση) - Clean. Location. A mix up with our reservation: we'd booked 2 rooms, but they only had one reserved. They do overbook and hotel was full. I produced my Bookings.com paper-work and it was sorted. A bit unnerving tho' - glad we arrived at 4 p.m. and not at 11 p.m. The receptionis... τι λέει ο κόσμος » t (Maria) was excellent. Sorted everything and comped us breakfast for the duration of our stay to make up for the mix up. - We only had a short stay - stopover of 2 days as we were on route to Canada. Close proximity to Union Square / Cable Car and city shopping and ofcourse the easy access from SFO Airport via the BART. $10 return trip each was a steel. Hotel staff excellent. Room was perfect - high floor with views and the bestest 2 x Queens - very very comfortable

  The personalized service was amazing. Upon our arrival, we wrote it was our first time to the city. The concierge hand wrote a welcome card and included a map with highlighted areas we must see WITH a detailed (again handwritten) explanation of each place corresponding to color print outs of the sites. Staff were friendly and the hotel was well located.

  For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others. Rick Brown - Staff were very friendly... τι λέει ο κόσμος » and most helpful. The room was comfortable, the decor was interesting and bonuses for me were free internet and plenty of electrical outlets. It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.
