I love this little Inn. It is by far the least expensive place to stay in Chelsea/Flatiron. It is not fancy by any means but it is quiet and the location is great. It's half a block off 5th ave shopping, two blocks from Union square and 2 blocks from 8th Ave in Chelsea. The rooms have a refrigerator which was rare to find for the price. There

The location and the courteous staff! Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue. From here, it's easy to get to anywhere in this beautiful City!

This was our second stay at the East Village this summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is very convenient, as transit can be accessed by 5-10 minute walk. The room was very well designed,u got kitchen and pans and bathroom and iron,big windows towards the street,cable tv 24 hours.Location is great,room is very clean,many good stuffs around.1 stop from brooklin but located in Manhatten,which is safer and closer to both side.No keys needed,only code,which is convenient.Not cheap,but absolutely not expensive.

very close to Manhattan but much cheaper and quieter than city. public transport fast, cheep and very frequent. lovely views. felt very safe with lots of security guards around area. -

Stanton street was a Great location with lots of reasonably priced eateries nearby. I have stayed in central manhattan in the past and by comparison I think the lower east side had more soul and we felt more at home and that we were locals for the couple of weeks that we stayed there. Many buses both cross town and up and downtow - This Bed and Breakfast is the most desirable hotel we have ever stayed in the New York City area. From the exceptionally clean lobby, friendly and competent manager-- along with the quietness of the rooms where we had stayed on two different occasions-I fully recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who would like to have peace and quiet while visiting New York. I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. The hotel rooms were excellent and were clean, comfortable and looked just like the hotel photos. We were upgraded from a family room to a suite and it was excellent

The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

Very nice flat at Times Square which provides the possibility to experience life in NYC much more than a "normal" hotel room. Wehave stayed at several other trendy 4 star hotels in the area and thiswas far better than any of those! As a plus they offered Freecomputer/printer/internet use.
