I checked into Grand Hyatt in Dec2013.
I was pleasantly surprised by how big the rooms are; at least, twice as big as any other hotel that I have stayed in for a price around $400. The rooms are extremely good in terms of maintenance and all the facilities that you would expect of Hyatt.

Room was clean and efficient . Good bathroom with daily replenished products .

Huge Lobby where the free wifi was available .
Lobby included coffee shop and snack area .
Nice bar area . We didn't use the restaurent or breakfast facilities preferring to eat out .

We booked a large room and were upgraded to a suite with living room andbalcony. Very nice touch. I would definitely stay there again. This isbeing stated by someone who lives and works in nyc. This hotel location is very near to most amenities, from shops up to your chemist, with restaurant ever close by, it is difficult not t like thehotel, with the only exception of its not so free internet connection. Which I would expect for the value at which we paid for the room. -

My boyfriend and I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was,
especially with our dog who was staying with us. When we arrived there

The double suite was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, very clean with nice decor. Perfect for two parents travelling with two teenagers. Excellent location for anyone who has business at the United Nations or around mid-town. The hotel's historic atmosphere is very appealling. - I liked it all! It was really great. The hotel looks beautiful and the staff is really polite. The rooms look amazing.

Our experience was great from our reception by the doorman helping us with our bags, our greeting as we checked in and the comfort of our room. We even got a n/c upgrade. The hotel is modern and spacious with large, comfortable, clean rooms. The suites are great with children- the pull-out couch is excellent quality and is a king-size bed. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The rooms are very quiet- a very nice experience! The location, near Time Square and Madison Ave. shopping is great! The staff are helpful and complimentary water and fruit is available in the lobby. The rooms have complimentary water, sodas, and snacks. A classy operation!
