  Loved the historic/rustic feel so perfect for Carmel. Cosy cottages afford privacy that a hotel just can't offer. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast baskets were the perfect amount of "grab and go" Continental style that gave us the energy for our scheduled days without feeling heavy or wasteful. Location was perfect too - not more that ten minutes to anywhere we wanted to go, and so close to one - we loved everything about our stay. we loved how each room was a separate little cottage. we loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the food basket. the staff was friendly. we had our own parking space and the price was perfect and didn't require a minimum stay. oh, and it was pet friendly. we could walk to town and get some exercise in because it wasn't too close to town. we loved this place and will definitely be back. we have told several people about it already.

  We loved meeting Nicha and Mike who made us feel welcome and like old friends. The location was convenient for walking to all of the great art galleries & shops. We felt at home with the beautiful quilts on the beds. The kitchenette was wonderful and decorated with touches of a time long ago. We first stayed at the Wayfarer Inn in the spring of 2012 and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked the Inn again this year. Very nice!
