We loved the welcome we received. We were made to feel at home right from the start.
Tracy poured us both a huge glass of wine and that set the scene for a wonderful stay.
Everything was spotless.
The breakfasts were good and the staff really friendly and helpful.
We especially loved the family atmosphere of the place.

Amazing value for the money. The staff was excellent - friendly and
helpful. Complimentary cheese and wine to start your evening, and a
simple, tasty breakfast in the morning. We stayed in Room 4 (one of the
smallest rooms on the upper floor with the slanted ceiling) and it was
more than enough room for two people. Very clean and the bed was
comfortable. I looked at a lot of B&Bs in Carmel and this was more
affordable than most. Also, it's only two blocks from the beach and
at night you can

We would highly recomended this place! The location is very beautiful and Idyllic and perfect for totally relaxed holidays. The reception staff is very welcoming and helpfully. Charming setting, amidst an enchanting neighborhood. The beach, just a
block away was stunning. Close to the beautiful Pacific Coastline,
restaurants and Hwy 1. The room was lovely along with the setting of
the entire Inn. Gorgeous gardens. The staff was wonderful and extremely
courteous. And... The breakfast was beyond my expectations. I would not
only recommend The Colonial Terrace to friends, but would like to
return again.

From the outside, the hotel looks more motel but what a surprise on the inside! We got upgraded to a cottage which was fantastic - lots of space, a patio and a great place to relax and spend the night. It's a drive to Carmel itself, but it isn't a huge problem and there are shops across the street (but the street is a busy highway). There was a po

Spacious room with a few nice extras such as a candle, tea towel, corkscrew, tea bags, real glasses and cups. Fridge, microwave and a pleasant privatevarea to sit outside. Supermarket over the road. Short drive into Carmel and
Point Lobos. Two chairs and a dining table. All good. Carmel is a lovely place. If you are wondering about whether to stay in Carmel or Monterey, forget Monterey - just pay a visit.

The hotel was lovely, on a very quiet street about a 2 minite walk to the beach. The hotel offered a communal lounge, complimentary water,use of the kkitchen to make drinks and and use thr fridge, it was so nice, like staying at a friends house. We also had a key to the main door as this is locked at night for security. Hotel also had a cuboard in the lobby full of anything u may need from a torch or hair dryer to first aid and batteries. The also offer afternoon tea, a lovely touch.

The Inn was very easy to find and had good parking for inside area as
well as close street side parking. All staff was courteous and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent and was included in cost. Late into the
evening my daughter needed to get something from car and I noticed the
police patrolled the area so I felt very safe and secure. The beach was
located a few blocks down the street from the Inn and was easily within
walking distance. The whole area is Beautiful!

Me and my lady wanted to take a romantic. Adobe inn more than exceeded my expectation. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed for two days, the room we had was nice but didnt have a view of the ocean the first day. The service was excellent. We were there on our honeymoon trip. The staff was very nice and kind and they took care of making our stay memorable. We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. Room was very nice and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. So nice to be close to all downtown shopping and especially liked the grocery story so close. Quite and very lovely place to stay. -

Perfect location close to the beach and the shops & restaurants around Ocean Ave.; cute B & B with several cottages and several nice places to sit outside.
Some rooms have a fireplace, during our stay of 9 nights we lived in 3 different rooms, all rooms are lovely decorated.

The inn keeper Greta is a sweetheart. She was attentive, friendly and personable.
The inn's distance from the main Ocean Ave traffic made it very quiet, yet it was close enough to all major attractions.
