Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Very accommodating staff - Located in a quiet side road. Ideal to go shoping by foot. Nice stores (also grocery) close by. As for the rooms it seems to depend on which room you get: I was located 1 block away from Copley House and enjoyed the suite very much.

We stayed for the Boston Marathon. We wanted a family friendly and nice
hotel with a kitchen within a reasonable walking distance from the
events. This was exactly what we got. The staff were extremely nice, as
are all Bostonians incidentally. The Breakfast buffet was a nice
surprise and well done. The pool, although small, was plenty of fun for
the kids and just as new and clean as the rest of the hotel.

The apartment was just redone. The beds were great. The kitchen had
everything you would need to cook, including a Keurig with coffee and a
full coffee pot. The internet was included as well as cable. Two
bathrooms are very important with traveling to keep the peace. The
balcony made you feel like you were just one of the neighbors. There are

I liked the overall modernity of the room design. I first saw the room in an image online. The room looked gorgeous! And was amazed at how, in reality, it was just as beautiful. It's better than most 4 or 5 star hotels in Boston. Brand new studios with a great fit out. Although there is no room service facility but across the street was a 7/11, restaurant and dry cleaners. Location is about 4 blocks away from newbury street.

Hotel was in great location in Seaport area. Close to convention centre. Hotel was extremely clean, breakfast included which was great. In evening there was often snacks or a small meal available in kitchen. Would definitely stay again. -
