The owners had arranged a lovely basket of flowers for my wife as it was our anniversary but also upgraded our room what a lovely touch, a very clen and bright hotel lovely freindly staff in a great position. Very confortable rooms and great to have a bar and social area so that you can unwind after a busy day. Breakfasts were excellent and offers

The staff made us feel very welcome and worked very hard. Nothing was too much trouble.The food was very good and our compliment to the Chef in this regard bearing in mind the small kitchen he has to work in.Overall a very good experience and it wont be long before we return

The hotel was in an ideal location in Windermere. We have just purchased a boat at the marina, and this was ideal for us. The hotel was excellent, food excellent, facilities excellent, and staff extremely helpful. Loved everything about our stay here. Really friendly and helpful staff who are all a credit to the hotel. Room had great view across to the lake. Large comfy bed, loads of storage space, hot and powerful shower, huge bath towels and more. Would definitely recommend evening meal at hotel. Food cooked to order so served fresh and hot. janette and brian made our stay at the lakes special. we arrived to a big smile from janette and as it was our anniversary she left a card and chocolates for us which i thought was really lovely x x x the rooms were spotless and breakfast was to die for x janette and brian are so friendly and helpful i would recommend anyone to stay there x x x -

Very welcoming and child friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need and bedrooms were comfortable. Very useful to have parking just outside. - The apartment was very spacious and modern decoration inside. Very clean and tidy inside and very close to the town of Windermere

I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

The owner, Linda, is a delightful, kind and hospitable person. She could not have been more helpful. While to place is small and there is really no place to relax other than the beds themselves, it seems consistent with the style of Guest House in the area. -

Staying at Beech House has totally restored my faith there are guest houses that go beyond anything a hotel can offer.
Maureen was so friendly, warm and inviting we just did not want to leave.

It's the best place I have stayed ever. Very kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our 1.5 years old for a leisure weekend. When we arrived the room, toys and a trolley have been prepared for her. The breakfast was wonderful. My wife and my daughter were really happy during the stay. Best place ever!

Very quiet and adequate. Beds clean and comfy. A lovely old house full of character which had a nice feel about it but very tired and dated. No problem with that as price was fair. Decorators were coming in as we were leaving so hotel is making effort. Wi-Fi very fast and reliable. This old building must be expensive to upkeep. -

Rather than catch a bus he offered to drop us off on his way. I don't think this sort of service would come from a 5 star international hotel.

The excellent food, and the friendly staff - Staff very friendly. Arts and crafts furniture outstanding. The lunch was of a very high standard. Views superb. A place to relax and unwind.
