Beautiful setting, beautiful house, beautiful breakfast! There's a lodge more or less at the end of the drive that does lovely food and you can drink the night away there and talk to the locals while they spin you a story or two! Followed by a sing song! This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. It has a kitchen and a living/ dining area with a table that 4 can comfortably sit at for meals. The Londis grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk away and if you prefer a meal out

Staff was friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a family room. The rooms were spacious even with the extra single bed brought into the room. The full size bed was very large and comfortable. For a chain, it's well done and as personal as a chain can get. The staff was really friendly and helpful and even let us check in a bit early. The location is right on the bus line and the foot path to the Falkirk Wheel runs right behind the attached restaurant. Decent breakfast at the attached restaurant. -

A very warm welcome upon arrival, and a good night's sleep in very spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with a bonus for the kids - a fun kids area which helped them shake off sleepy eyes in minutes while waiting for their cooked breakfast. -

As I have stayed at this hotel before, although some time ago, staff instantly recognised me, called me by name and were helpful, enthusiastic and efficient. Staff were nice and friendly. I arrived extremely tired. When I asked
about dinner, the options were explained to me and then the
receptionist said I could have dinner in my room if I preferred, which
sounded great. Food was good quality, if a little small in portion size
and quite expensive. I also took part in an all day conference the next

What is not to like ?
The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked.
We have stayed at the Rob Roy many times and recomended our friends to stay. willbe back on Sept with a party of 30 to 40 for 4 nights Kind regards

My mum and I went to surprise relatives who were on a tour from Nuneaton. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel.
The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was.
We had a bar meal which was plentiful and good value. Breakfast was excellent.

The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for any one of them.Even my dogs were welcome. Excellent choice of meals and very wellpresented. The hotel was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. The food was delicious - and lots of it, the staff were friendly and the room was spotless. Also there was a bus stop right outside which takes you into sterling. And best of all the price was very reasonable. Absolute bargain !! - The hotel was nice and clean. was a little

I thought the rooms, or more importantly, the room I received was absolutely fabulous. It was spacious and luxurious. Highly recommend it for the room that I was allocated however I did see some of the other rooms as family members were staying and there double rooms were extremely small, but again I can only comment for my self and extremely happy
