The Woodside was very clean and comfortable, the room was nicely decorated as were the public areas. The bathroom was very clean with plenty of nice clean fluffy towels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. All in all a nice place to stay. -

We dined with friends who were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were presented with a bottle of fizz compliments of the management. A gesture which was greatly appreciated. The atmosphere was just so cosy and comfortable especially for a pre christmas break. The Staff were so accommodating and hospitable. We especially liked the fact we could wander down for breakfast when we were ready as the pub didn't open till 1230. The breakfast was really delicious and we also enjoyed our evening meal the first night.

Very impressed with the attitude of the staff. Special compliments to Dave who gave his time to show my daughter the art of origamy-the napkins. He was brilliant and gave us insight to the history of Kirkcaldy. Plus, the breakfast was of a very high quality, arguably the best we have experienced in a hotel.Will come upto Kinghorn regularly and will have no hesitation in staying here again.Terrific hotel!!!

That the staff were able to keep our bags whilst our room was getting prepared as we arrived early before check in. This allowed us to arrive at the hotel at evening after our wedding knowing our belongings were safe in our room without the need for us to collect. I also left my phone charger after departure and the staff called me to say they are

The room size was good and it had the character of a lovely older hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location across from the loch on the edge of a small village was picturesque. 25-30 mins drive from Edinburgh Airport where we flew from.
