The Woodside was very clean and comfortable, the room was nicely decorated as were the public areas. The bathroom was very clean with plenty of nice clean fluffy towels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. All in all a nice place to stay. -

The hotel was very clean and tidy and the room I booked had excellent views across the bay. The staff where extremely helpful at tall times and the food was also excellent. I wiould return again. - The hotel staff were very attentive but not intrusive; the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fresh and cooked to order.

We dined with friends who were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were presented with a bottle of fizz compliments of the management. A gesture which was greatly appreciated. Firstly the room very pleasant I was in room four with view of the palace plump duvet and pillows very comfortable. With large shower room next door with nice decor and toiletries all yu can need although you are asked if you have any requests just ask. The atmosphere was just so cosy and comfortable especially for a pre christmas break. The Staff were so accommodating and hospitable. We especially liked the fact we could wander down for breakfast when we were ready as the pub didn't open till 1230. The breakfast was really delicious and we also enjoyed our evening meal the first night.

Evelyn the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable, somewhere you could relax after a long day sightseeing. The garden was furnished with seats for the guests and there was also a guest lounge. The continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and Evelyn was happy to provide more should you require it. I would certainly visit again and recommend this hotel to friends.

We were made to feel very welcome. It was all so genuine, there wasnever any feeling of the owners faking their smiles etc. - rooms where great, We loved the place, they could not do enough for us....we will be back .

Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

The hosts were the best we have met in our year of travelling and our fellow guests were extremely pleasant to spend time with. A most enjoyable experience.

That the staff were able to keep our bags whilst our room was getting prepared as we arrived early before check in. This allowed us to arrive at the hotel at evening after our wedding knowing our belongings were safe in our room without the need for us to collect. I also left my phone charger after departure and the staff called me to say they are

Excellent location for our trip. Quiet room with very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely helpful and made it clear that nothing was too much trouble and to contact reception about any concerns. Very good value for money.

Location was excellent, a fairly quiet village within easy striking distance of larger places such as St Andrews, Perth, Sterling.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Breakfasts were of excellent quality, evening dinner menu had enough variety for us to eat there 4 or 5 times during our stay.
Highly recommneded. -
