  We dined with friends who were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were presented with a bottle of fizz compliments of the management. A gesture which was greatly appreciated. Also one of the staff came later with a small cake with a single candle.   The 12 of February we got married in St Andrews. We love this place, which is the reason why we chose it for our wedding ceremony. We wondered where we would like to spend two days after the wedding and after reading the opinion we decided to stay in Ogston hotel...And it was a great choice. We have booked a room with double bed...what we saw when we a - The room was great we had a Deluxe Twin and it was a big room with a large bathroom and a rolled top bath. The location on North street means it's just a short walk to the beach and the Old course and to the town as well. The staff where very helpful and the breakfast was really good. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and not to costly .We will stay again in this hotel the next time we are in St Andrews

  The owners were very friendly, with a very cute labrador retreiver. 20 mins. from the St. Andrews golf course, but the facilities were enough to spend the nights and the price was exellent. - It was lovely, setting was fantastic.
