I really loved staying here! Val is such a nice host.

In a beautiful location overlooking the bay and close to the centre of Oban we had a great visit. The owner recommended two excellent restaurants nearby where we had lovely seafood (and reserved them for us). The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, and the breakfast was copious and well-prepared.

The Old Manse is a delightful place to stay. The owners are great hosts and they have an attention to detail. Upon arrival they helped us with our bags and offered us a cold beer. The decor in the room we stayed in was superb and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious but a little more variety could have helped. -

It was our first trip with our 6 week old baby - the hotel could not have been more welcoming! As it is a high standard of formal dining offered at the hotel we were uncomfortable taking our baby in to the dining room, the staff set up a small private dining experience for us so we could still have a lovely dinner but not disturb other guests! The owner of the b&b was really nice, available and made us feel at ease soon. He is also a good cook, we had home made bread (he did it) for breakfast and it was very good. The room was fantastic, balcony had beautiful sights of loch lomond. We
stayed in room 67 in the building behind the main facility and couldnt
recommend it more. We got a great deal (£66 booked on the same day -
spur of the moment stop-over), the room had a personal sauna, the
restaurant was absolute quality and worth the £80 we paid for 3 courses.
The hotel also had a decent pool, sauna, steam room etc. Will definitely
strive to go back in the near feature.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Alistair is a wonderful host - as soon as we booked he sent us an email with videos of the guest house and surrounding area. Before we arrived he emailed to advise that a regatta was being held whilst we were there so we should probably try to book dinner in advance, he also provided a list of all the restaurants

Alistair the host was brilliant so friendly & very professional. Everything was spotless clean which is a must for us. Location was brilliant loads of good pubs & restaurants. Lots of choice on the breakfast menu which was cooked to perfection.
