The friendly welcome, and good service.Excellent breakfast. central to town. The welcoming staff and quality of breakfast. proximity to town and friendly staff.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed.The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also, the breakfasts were excellent!. Breakfast and wall mounted Telly and friendliness and quietness of therooms when I shut my window. The location is very good, just opposite to the rail station. Friendly staff: the breakfast!. Excellent breakfast. Helpful with allowing us leave luggage early and later in day to fit around train travel.Very friendly and helpful staff. Location excellent. location of guest house was perfect for my stay. Was well situated, walking distance to bus terminal and train. The owner was very pleasant. It had a tiny ensuite, which was not mentioned on the site and could be added. Very reasonably priced. Do not remember reading guest reviews on site. located right near station and not fsr from most attractions. Very friendly owner who was very hospitable but the guest house needsupdating and decorating. Ease of access to Bus Station and breakfast. Owner was very friendly. breakfast was good and land lady was very helpful.Parking. nowhere to park car. In process of being refurbished but this only temporary. No, not really although car parking could be a bit of a problem. The bed is too soft for me. The decor of the rooms left a bit to be desired, especially since the building appears to be subsiding, and there was quite a lot of mould/mildew around the windows and bathroom fittings. However, if all you want is a room with a shower and value for money then it's perfect. Not the Hotel, Just in General People In Penzance drive far too fastthrough the town past the station particuliarly. A 20 mph speedlimitshould be Introduced as It is difficult to cross the road near guesthouse and even near pedestrian crossings. Its the only slight dampnerabout Penzance, needs reviewing. No toilet brush!. It was hard to contact owners when we had a problem with the shower at night. Room was much to small compared to others at same price i have stayed at. Was not comfortable.Very noisy nightime, on main traffic road my room was overlooking this road.. the general decor of the room - cobwebs and breakfast was standard.Ceiling tiles were broken in bedroom, paper had pealed off walls, verystrong smell of cooking from the cafe. Tatty interior, scruffy landlady, poor workmanship where "improvements" were attempted. The decor and maintenance of the hotel needs reviewing, very poor. Stayed in other BnBs changing the same price and there was no comparison. The room was very basic with a wardrobe that moved it was so poorly made. The whole building appeared dilapidated and requires a total refurbishment: All 'improvements' appeared to be the worse DIY I have ever seen. The bathroom was ill fitting and smelt highly of mold this was so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door shut during the day and leave the window open at all times. No parking provided. No internet, filthy room, terrible condition, leaking water, smelly. Just awful; should not be allowed to operate. not clean landlady was too lazy too make us tea and toast although we told her we were leaving at 8.15 to catch a ferry not very accomodating.
