Retaining many original features, this stone-built Victorian property has open fires and charming individually designed rooms. With free Wi-Fi and both cooked and continental breakfasts, the Estoril is just 250 metres from Penzance’s Western Promenade and beach.
Each bedroom at The Estoril has its own décor, some with feature beds or sea views. Each room has its own dimensions due to the unique style of the property, from rooms in the gables to spacious rooms with bay windows.
Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, and guests can relax in the garden and patio seating areas outside. There is also a lounge area in which to relax after a day exploring the town.
The town centre is a 5-minute walk from the property, with many of Penzance’s restaurants, pubs and shops. A ferry leaves for the Isles of Scilly just 10 minutes’ walk from the Estoril.
Land’s End is just 20 minutes’ drive from Penzance, with a stunning coastline between them including picturesque Mousehole and the spectacular Minack Theatre.

Loved everything about this beautiful hotel. The hosts were so warm and friendly (Nong & Eddie), and couldn't do enough for us. Nong even brought us some nice fresh croissants to our room when we arrived that evening! The room was beautiful - and so lovely and quiet. We both slept really well. The hotel is situated on a lovely quiet street, very close to the seafront of Penzance. Estoril is a 10-room bed and breakfast in a lovely old house on a very
charming street in central Penzance. Our room was basic but quite
comfortable, just as advertised (we were on the third floor with partial
sea views over the tops of the houses below us). The ample continental
breakfast buffet was served in the beautiful dining room every morning
from 7-10 and we were able to park for free in the owner's driveway.
We loved everything about our stay - great room equipped with everything we needed (including a TV, wi-fi, a hair-dryer, toiletries), great location which made going into town/the bus and rail stations really easy and friendly, accommodating owners who made us feel very welcome and comfortable (beyond what they really needed to do). Highly recommended!.
This was a good clean hotel with very friendly owners, the room was large with a good bathroom. It also had a four poster bed. The breakfast was continental type and excellent
The location was good near the sea front and deal for the Scilly Isles ferry.
The only fault there was no fridge to keep cold drinks.
The Estoril is in an excellent position. Staff friendly and helpful.
The breakfast had a varied selection of food available.
You are able to leave your luggage which is useful if you are travelling from Penzance later in the day.
This was my second stay and I would stay at the Estoril again.
It's a comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. We were free to come and go as we pleased, able to use the dining room in the evening to read newspapers. We could use the free wifi. The breakfast was continental but had a fair choice of things. The owners were friendly and accommodating.
The Booths, Eddie and Nong, are great proprietors. Between Eddie's
restoration skills and Nong's decorating talents, they've turned
the Victorian building into a lovely B&B. The breakfasts are
delicious. The Wi-Fi service is excellent.
The owners were extremely friendly and courteous. I was a single traveller on this trip but this B&B would have been perfect if my family had also been present. Great care, (without fussing), was taken- parking, bag carried.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Estoril. Clean and refreshing. Owners extremely helpful in responding to any questions asked. Would certainly recommend the hotel to all. Conveniently placed close to both beach and town.
We were cycling from Lands End and really appreciated our bikes being stored. Very friendly and accomodating.

The room was tastefully decorated and big enough for our suitcases and
us. Breakfast was well presented with croissants made on the premises.

The bed was comfortable and the toilet and shower were in good working order.
I'd say it was a bit over-priced at 85 pounds a night, but no
more so than every other spot in Penzance in midsummer. Very glad we
stayed there.

The parking was on street and it was difficult to find a space. There was a car park a short walk away, but we prefer to have our car in sight, so didn't use it.
We stayed on the 2nd floor, which was one flight of stairs too much for
us. Next time, we will book a room on the first floor.

The only compliment we have is there wasn't a fridge in the room to
