  The room was clean and fresh and comfortable and spotlessly maintained by housekeeping. ALL the staff were genuine and friendly, but not imposing. The location was absolutely perfect - directly adjacent to Harlyn Bay, you can hear the surf from the patio in the evening, there are several other fab beaches within a short distance from the hotel.   the setting was perfect. I had travelled a great distance to attend a job interview and my daughter accompanied me. The room was upgraded to superior double room by the managements decision. This was to our heightened surprise and gratefulness. Clean, stylish, spacious and so relaxing with a view of the medieval harbour. We even took adv - The location. That there was plenty to do within walking distance. There was no through traffic., which made it lovely and quiet. Plenty of places to stroll and have a quiet drink or eat. My favourite was the beach. The hotel was homely and just easy to come and go as you please., with food at the car until quite late.

  The accommodation was within a stunning location, next to a secluded beach area with beautiful views from any angle. The accommodation as clean and has very good communal areas i.e. living area and kitchen. The staff were very friendly and the hostel provided a very good atmosphere. Finally it is extremely good quality for money, i would highly recommend. - The location is amazing, right on the cliff top, just a short walk to 2 beautiful beaches. There was a great atmosphere on the Friday evening in the beer garden, overspilling onto the cliff top. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The breakfast team seemed short staffed (just 1) but he was calm and helpful and efficient (lots of people would have turned into Basil Fawlty). Good food too. Would definitely stay again. The kids loved it.

  This was an excellent place to stay in Cornwall and really cheap for the standard of accommodation outside peak times. Very close to St Merryn and Padstow both of which have brilliant places to eat.
