Superb friendly staff and owners. excellent facilities. The kitchenette was fabulous. Very generous with extras like milk, cereals, bisuits. Impeccably clean. Breakfast served in rom. Wonderful. I will always go there again when in Oxford. Regular bus service to City. Runs evry 15 minutes from outside hotel. Takes 10 mins max to get there. Quiet re

We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB. So, the fact that the hotel has parking and is not far from the busstop made it convenient for getting into the city of Oxford. - Our ro

The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. Really appreciated the central heating in the mornings and evenings and the exceptionally hot shower ! Close to city centre. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

The overall ambience of the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean, fresh room decoration. We also enjoyed the location with a bonus of a restaurant overlooking woodland. Close to Oxford/A34 and Park and Ride but far enough away fso that road noise and city life, does not intrude. - Very welcoming and attentive to guests requirements, my birthday was made

The staff was courteous, attentive and informative. In the bad winter weather the location was excellent for the train station. - It was relaxed, the drinks available to your room were priced fairly.

We stayed at the Dial House for two nights. It was not planned trip and was a last minute booking. We could not have asked for more. The family were wonderful, really friendly and helpful. The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. very friendly efficient staff. Clean room. Very good breakfast. Good value - Staff pleasant, and the lady who greeted us was very helpful in discovering information for us, giving us the fresh milk requested in ample quantity and ordering us a taxi. Car park very useful. Location good.
