  Very comfortable nicely furnished family suite with great beds. Suited our family of 4 with kids 6 & 8 as we had own sitting room space in evening. Suite has amazing views of the sea/port, and located away from noise of main town, but only a short walk along the promenade to get to shops, port for ferries and seafood restaurants. Would stay here agai - Stellar, friendly, helpful hosts (thanks Mark & Jan!), fab room with stain glass window and breath-taking view of the sea and promenade, Mark's Scottish Breakfast utterly delicious, lovely attention to detail including snifter of sherry, great location next door to beautiful ruin (Dunollie Castle) we will come back. Chief highlight of our three week Scottish tour was Oban in general and the Barriemore in particular.

  Very friendly helpful staff! Great location on the waterfront. Very clean and spacious! Guests mainly in their 50s (like me) so ideal place to stay! Meals cooked on the premises and generous portions. Quiet hostel so if you want to party _ better go to the backpackers down the road! - As a senior member I enjoy the security and comfort.   The welcoming staff. Village location close to the sea. Good slection at breakfast time to cater for all needs. Room was well appointed and clean although a little cramped. Shower in the room did not work during my stay but had the use of a seperate shower which was not ideal as I had paid for a en-suite room. The staff at the B&B tried their ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » best to get the shower fixed to no avail - Liked everything about this place. It was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent - this was the only b&b that did not have separate breakfast tables and it was great because it was a good opportunity to interact with other guests. Kirsty was an excellent host.
