Set in an acre of beautiful grounds, Tigh na Cheo also boasts views of the surrounding Highlands. At the gateway to the West Highland Way footpath, there is a free car park and bike storage. All of the bright rooms have a flat-screen TV/DVD with DVDs available from reception, and free tea and coffee. All rooms have a private bathroom, whilst some also have views of the hills. The area around Loch Leven is perfect for walking and mountain biking, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the property. There is a drying room for wet clothes and walking gear. The village of Kinlochleven has traditional pubs and restaurants, 0.4 miles from the guest house. It is also the home of the National Ice Climbing Centre, 10 minutes’ walk away.

Because we arrived early, the hostess offered us large umbrellas for the short walk to the town center. They were far larger than those in our backpacks. The lounge was filled with good books and games. The entire site was immaculate. The room was the most finely decorated we encountered during our two week stay in Scotland. By coincidence, our room was the same powder blue of my room in my parent's home, where I grew up. The decor was in perfect taste, nothing out of style. The artwork was fit.
όλα τα σχόλια » Martin and Jacqui do a fantastic job - really nice people, well-organised (they like you to order breakfast the night before so it can be cooked freshly for you), and helpful. Everything is immaculate. We asked for a twin room and were given room 3 at the far end at the front as requested. The comfortable beds were nice and far apart (although it looked as though they could be linked if desired) - my wife and I love each other dearly but both have chronic medical conditions that mean we can be . They had thought of everything - the room was spotlessly clean and with nice modern decor. The bed was comfortable with high quality bedding and bed linen. There was an excellent selection of toiletries and extra things you might need. There was a tv in the room and a good bathroom en suite. A short detour off the West Highland Way and perfect for a relaxing night between walks. The owners were very friendly and welcoming/ helpful and the breakfast was delicious - plentiful and very nicely cook. Enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Tigh na Cheo. My room was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities also extra little touches of luxury toiletries and radox bath soak which was much appreciated after a long walk.The owners Martin and Jacqui were wonderful hosts offering information on sightseeing, places to eat etc. There was an excellent choice for breakfast which was delicious and plentiful. As for the views from my bedroom window of the mountains and the lovely garden with th. Martin & Jacqui were the perfect hosts and Made us feel really welcome from day one. They provided us with excellent local information on where to visit, walk & eat and had a great local knowledge of the area. The rooms were immaculately maintained and very comfortable the breakfast choice was great and the nice little touch of the flag of your country was great as you instantly knew the nationality of hours fellow diners. We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting this part. Martin and Jackie who run the B&B were absolutely perfect hosts. They made us feel really welcome and we had our national flag on the table when we had breakfast next day. Martin also booked us into superb restaurant called Loch Leven seafood cafe which was my very best eating out experience I have ever had in the uk including some very fine London restaurants. We enjoyed a comfortable stay at Tigh na Cheo. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Martin and Jacqui were very obliging with information and suggestions for sight seeing options. The room was very comfortable, well decorated and thoroughly clean. The organic, locally produced hand wash and body lotion was a lovely touch, as was the Radox for the bath. The stay was great... Full of hospitality. Location was very good and near the lake and the beautiful trails. At breakfast table, there were a flag... We were surprised as well as touched. We had a very good sleep and very good morning. Heating worked very well and a good bath was a bonus. The owners, Martin and Jackie, were very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I can't think of a better base for a walking trip in the Glen Coe area, or for stopping after a day's walk on the West Highand Way. This place was immaculate, couldn't have asked for more. The little touches like the luxury soaps and the national flags on your breakfast table made all the difference. Had a lovely chat with the owners at breakfast and they are so pleasant. Mind you it's a good place with very good food. Midge mesh screens to allow the opening of windows at night would have been welcome as the room was a bit stuffy in the hot weather. There was nothing to dislike!. Tv in our room cut out and lost signal a lot. Not a problem for us as we only put the tv on twice before we went to bed. The wife couldn't have been more helpful, very polite and full of local knowledge.Very charming.Her husband on the other hand very rude and abrupt also quite dishevelled in appearance on both occasions we saw him. Nothing. Only being able to stay one night!. Nothing. Everything was perfect. Nothing. nothing. Nothing - everything was perfect. A bit hard to find. No signage in the main road enterance. Even you reach the house, the signage is small and no light, very difficult to find it at night. Nothing. room without view. Nothing. Nothing.

Kindly note the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. Early check-in is not possible as the rooms are prepared for 14:00. Late check-ins after 21:00 must be arranged prior to arrival.
