Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast good, wish we'd tried the restaurant the night before. everything generally,no complaints,totally satisfied. Breakfast and sky sports news!. The evening meal was excellent, although comparatively expensive.Value for money room rate. Half the price of major hotels. Nice hotel.Excellent price. Bed was huge and very comfortable.Friendliness of staff, warm room, tissues and coffee in room!. Friendliness of the staff. Size and comfort of bed. Room service. Location great...parking available. room large but quite tired. A budget location...facilities good just the rooms are a little tired but basically clean and fit for purpose. Although well cooked, my full English breakfast was swimming in liquid - possibly from the scrambled eggs; and the toast was appalling - limp.Toilet leaked in our bathroom. Reception staff were rather casual and didn't like to offer any information unless probed.Room I stayed in needed modernisation - it looked like it had been designed in the eighties. very noisy until 1.00 a.m. due to a party being held. shower very little water flow. The food in the hotel was very expensive so we did not eat there. The room was comfortable but old fashioned and the bathroom seriously needed updating, as did the worn chairs in the room. We noticed the rooms shown on booking.com website were not the ones we were given! We were clearly in the cheaper side of the hotel! We looked in the rooms on the other side of the hotel and they were far nicer!. Bathroom needed updated, walls tiles loose, not very clean. Floorboards noisey...Obviously once a fine hotel now a little rundown. time for it to be refurbished. felt down at hel. Breakfast could have been better. Well, everything went on fine until I checked out but the courtesy dramatically changed once I checked out. I asked them to call a Taxi for me and one of the girls told me that they are bit busy so will call in few minutes. They didn't call a taxi for me and had to ask again after waiting 20 minutes. It was not professionalism! :(. I booked an alarm call every day but it was day four before I actuallyreceived one. I also asked for an extra duvet and didn't get it. It was very basic and the bed was uncomfortable. The decor needed updating but I guess you get what you pay for.credit card surcharge exorbitant. Could do with being re-furbished as the decor was a bit tired.Poor Shower. The bed in our room was not comfortable but we were moved into another one which was better. The outside of the hotel could do with a facelift to look inviting.I found the rooms in need of repair and i did not have a good night sleep as i could hear the guests above me, the floor board made so much noise it woke me every time they got out of bed or used the loo. the noise people banging on ur door through the night keeping you up shouting and banging doors. we thought the room needed updating and felt unclean.The shower was poor and tv picture not good. The bathrom was pretty poor, with some slight mould round the tub. One light did not work. It was a low price, but I definitely would not reccomend at a higher price. Budget hotel you get what you pay for. the bedroom wasnt as clean as i thought it would be but it was comfy and the bathroom wasnt very clean.The batroom was very dirty and had shavings all over the tiles, also the poor girl on reception was trying to do xmas bookings and it took ages to check me in. I thought the hotel was looking tired. In need of major room improvements and decoration. In need of air conditioning. Exisitng double glazing does not fit there useless. Wells so thin you can everything in the next room.rooms, service, attitude of staff. General manager did not care about customer and hotel problems. Receptionist hotel procedures very poor.
