Boasting modern rooms with period features within a converted stable block, The Fox is a refurbished, traditional stone pub. It serves home-cooked food alongside various speciality beers.
All rooms at The Fox are cosily furnished with wooden beams and private bathrooms alongside LCD flat-screen TV/DVDs and free wired internet access. Toiletries, bottled water, and tea/coffee facilities are also provided.
A breakfast hamper with cereals, pastries, juice, fruit with fresh milk is delivered to the bedrooms each evening. Cooked breakfast is available at a farm shop and tea room about 5 minutes' walk away.
Traditionally furnished with wooden beams and flagstone floors, the pub’s bar provides an extensive range of drinks from cappuccinos to real ale.
Free Parking is available at The Fox, and the M40 motorway is just 5 minutes’ drive away. Silverstone Race Circuit is a 20-minute drive, and Banbury is 10 minutes away by car.

The Fox has the exterior charm of a Cotswold country pub in a quiet hamlet with the efficiency and comfort of a city hotel. We had a warm welcome and escorted to our room without waiting despite it being a busy Saturday evening. The four rooms are adjacent to the Fox in a converted stable/barn. It wasn't large but well designed, clean, warm and comfortable. Basket of toileteries, plenty of tea, coffee and sugar and what a joy real coffee! Didn't need my travel cafetiere.

The staff were really nice and helpful. And that was just the start of it. Room itself was lovely. Gave you all you needed. Room was very clean, bathroom was lush walkin shower.
Breakfast was served in basket to your door. With offers of a discount full breakie around corner if you prefered.
Meal in the fox night before was really good home made. Tasted lovely. I'd go again for the food alone.
lovely room/ensuite facilities with ample continental beakfast served to your room
extensive tea and coffee facilities within the room which was clean and tidy
lovely friedly staff

Good location from j11 on m40, about 10mins drive. Lots of free parking off road. Rooms are lovely , comfy and warm, very quiet . The pub is on site for food and drink. We had a nice evening in the pub.which served real ale!Alternative stay to bland travel/premier lodges with no facilities. would stay here again.
Lovely village location. Food at the Fox was tasty & very reasonable. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room during the evening for the next morning & it was excellant. Our room was very nicely decorated & extremely clean.
Great Service and cozy accommodation. The entire team made us feel welcome and appreciated. We can recommend this hotel if you are staying for one night or several. Great food in the restaurant also. DO NOT miss out on the Sticky Toffee Pudding...the best I ever had anywhere.
Everything...it was the 4th visit to stay over...we always stop off at the Fox when we are in the area. Food - great staff - really friendly. Atmosphere - lovely. The village is really lovely. Don't even mind been woken by the Peacock at the crack of dawn!!.
This is one of the best places that we have stayed. The room was lovely and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We arrived late and they kept the kitchen open and cooked us a fantastic meal.
Friendly staff and pub atmosphere with impressive range of reasonably priced beer and food.
Excellent value for B and B.
Town has several interesting shops. Ideal centre for exploring the area.
Comfortable bed. Breakfast in basket unusual but meant you could eat when you wished. Excellent staff, parking and although we don't smoke the patio and garden picnic benches were lovely.
great pub with nice rooms in a converted stable block. Staff are very friendly and the location is peaceful in a quiet village setting. Food at the pub is wholesome and good quality.

Excellent food available.
Comfortable, roomy double, good bed and good sizr room.
Internet was very good.
Restaurant was also very good and had a good atmospher..
Good position in a lovely village.
As everyone else seems to have mentioned - just the breakfast, but it was good quality and hygienically presented.
Er cant think of anything all was lovely.
nothing.
The only thing we didnt like was the croissants in the breakfast hamper ( im just a toast person in the morning) and we didnt have enough milk in the flask for cereals and drinks. the host did get us some without any problem quickly though.
A little difficult to find. The bed was only a double and we felt it to be a little small.
If there was one thing that would make things better, it would be a little more space to put toiletries in the bathroom. Everything else was great.
Leaving.....
Pub and restaurant would benefit from redecoration and re-furbishment.
Street parking only in fairly busy route.
Our room was small, enough for the bed and side tables. Ensuite was fine but the shower door was narrow and no power in the shower!.
liked it all. If you want a cooked breakfast then you can walk down the road to Limes Farm shop and have the works.
Have no bad things to say.
Feeble shower in our room.
nothing.
Nowhere to hang clothes. Shower thermostat didn't work and went from scalding to cold very quickly.
The shower facility was poor and temperamental.
A disturbance at 4am in the morning was a little distressing. It appeared to be a party of people returning to the pub to collect their cars. They were not at all quiet, shouting and banging car doors and one of them even knocked loudly on our apartment door for no reason other than making a nuisance of themselves. Even so we will still stay at the fox again as the staff and accommodation are very good and overall we enjoyed our stay.
Room had very little soundproofing and I could hear conversations in the
adjoining room very clearly. Even ear plugs didn't help that much.
The noise just seemed to travel. A shame but this would put me off
staying here again and that is the only reason that I would not
recommend if to other travellers.
Nothing.
Breakfast was a little sparce with not much of a selection.
Room a bit small. Unfortunately for us the beer was being delivered at 8 the next morning which was rather noisy.
Small dark room. Water leak in Bathroom. Location is a bit out of the way. No shops nearby. Food in pub was poor quality.
Nothing.
No hot breakfast available.
nothing.
Limited menu chips with everything. Needed fresh vegatables.
Bedrooms small: needs space for paper work lap top etc all very limited.
Didnt sleep well
Spotlight shining through window one night
Next stay, different room - loud rattling vent outside prevented sleep.
Overpriced linguine £11 pp and not enough food on the plate. When mentioned sympathies were expressed but no offer of more food or free dessert which would have been a nice gesture as we were still hungry...
The generator noise.
would have liked 2 chairs in room.
Problem with the toilet flush..
Not really negative comments.
The room was too dark. Needs more powerful light bulbs.
