Situated in the peaceful village of West Knighton, New Inn – Dorchester is a former 16th-century coaching inn. It blends original features with modern attributes, such as free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking.

Excellant accomadation. The room we stayed in had a superking size bed and a zed bed for a young child. The room was spacious and well decorated with ample tea and coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathroom had a large corner shower cubicle with plenty of hot water. The towels are full size bath sheets and the usual toiletries are provided.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We had our evening meals at the New Inn as well as breakfast. The food is home cooked and is made with lo. όλα τα σχόλια »
Stayed in the old coach house, the room was clean modern with a good view, friendly staff, good quality food, made to feel very welcome, the pub was situated in a very pretty village, the owner has completely refurbished throughout With a lot of thought, modern but oldy worldly, would defiantly recommend the NEW INN, we shall return, if you like country walks, there was a well sign posted walks in the village, + they do allow dogs in the main pub,.
Me and my husband loved it. Nice and comfy room, delicious food, service with a smile, car park, free wifi (working all the time), tea and coffee in the room, warm room all the time, nice location. Definitely recommended!.
Staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly. room beautiful and very clean, and the breakfast certainly sets you up for the day.

Peace and quiet, but within 10 minutes of Dorchester, and 20 minutes of the Jurassic coast.
All the staff were very welcoming. The food delicious and the portions huge. Comfy bed.
Excellent food at pub prices. The chef is a local woman who just makes delicious food.

Noise from road at night a bit of an issue
Noise from cellar extractor fan a bigger issue for me with a recurrent rattle an vibration from about 0400 hrs in the morning.

It was all very nice, friendly and comfortable. Oh yes it was difficult to plug in the kettle.

Price of food 9.95 for cottage pie !!!.
Fridge heat exchanger fan noise from end of building outside window.
That you could not check in until after 5 pm.
No mention of having no bath as this is advertised as a family room you would have expected a bath.
Very noisy during the night - lots of banging in owners residence above us.
Breakfast was poor - eggs overcooked and coffee luke warm.
Evening meal was basic.
