The warm welcome by the efficent staff the food was good the facilitiesprovided by the hotel - Really enjoyed my stay at the village hotel - the staff were friendly and willing to help. The leisure facilities were great, lovely steam room and jacuzzi. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent rates and genuinely nice staff and very helpful. Very easy to get to.No complaints. The plug sockets needed lifting a little as some charger plugs can be a difficult large size but it did not cause a problem and staff were very nice and charged my phone for me and said the plugs were going to be lifted. I stayed here a few times over the past few months, and have to say I was greeted with a very friendly smile each time, especially Yali, the rooms were clean, and had everything I needed for my short trip. One thing that would make this trip would be new, more comfortable beds, but I survived. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced, the free breakfast in the morning is adequate and there is an option for a cooked breakfast for a reasonable £4.95.

I arrived late in the evening and had not eaten all day. The kitchen was closed but they went out of their way to get me something to eat anyway. - Everything in the room works but the modern LCD TVs are let down by lack of Freeview and poor RF distribution

The Attitude of the staff was excellent, I was going to write a letter to you to say this. we were very pleasantly surprised with the Hotel and will definately use Holiday Inn again for any future trips - The hotel was light and modern. Having read other guests reviews prior to our stay I was unsure as to what we would find. Despite the comments made by others we had a very enjoyable stay. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff with an excellent menu of lovely home cooked food - the steak and ale pie and the full English breakfast were particularly good. Everything you could possibly need in the rooms, even biscuits which was a nice touch. Very clean with lovely large white fluffy towels and a powerful shower. This was our third stay at the Oak and we will certainly be staying here again when we are next in the area
