It's a quiet, friendly and welcoming place to stay. Such love and care have gone into making everyone's stay a great one. The room was peaceful, well appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely the best place I have stayed in Chester, so look NO further than Lavender Lodge!!

I have just spent a couple of weeks travelling around the UK in a number of different guest houses and found the Ba Ba to offer a much higher standard of accommodation than the letsbookhotel.com rating would indicate. This was one of the nicest establishments we have stayed at for the price range we targetted.

The staff at the Ba Ba made us feel very welcome, the bedroom was immaculate, clean and the refreshments were plentiful and most welcome at the end of a busy day. I would definitely recommend the Ba Ba as a place to stay and really close to the historic attractions of Chester. We also had excellent evening meals locally on the recommendation of the staff at the Ba Ba.

I can't fault this place. Such good value for money, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The apartment is incredibly spacious, which was such a bonus as we had 4 small children with us. We stayed at the Chester Apartment for our sons graduation at the cathedral. What wonderful accomodation, very comfortable and excellent central location. Very close to the Mill Hotel, where we had a beautiful meal on the Canaletto barge restaurant, located at the hotel. Will be looking to book again in the near future.

It was a lovely place, we requested a ground floor room,(as I use a stick) we were given room 12, the family room, it was a lovely size room, and just off the bar, but nice and quiet.

The rooms were very clean and user friendly. They had obviously recently been refurbished as were the bathrooms. The shower was huge - very luxurious. Loved the friendly atmosphere of the pub area downstairs which also included a heated terrace area out the front. Breakfast was good. Free parking on site. Only 10 minute walk into town. The pub itself is lovely, nice and traditional with big log fires. The room we stayed in was located upstairs above the pub, it was big, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, informative and very accommodating. It was a really pleasant atmosphere and a lovely location. Also we had dinner on Saturday which started a little late as we were a large group and the restaurant was quite full - we got to dessert and the waiter made it for us as the chef had finished for the day - superb service and more than could be expected.
