I loved the laid back feel to the place. I wonder how many little 'gems' like this place still exist. We were greeted with freshly baked chocolate cake on arrival and informed that there was wine in the fridge in the dining room, for payment you popped your money in the honesty box. We were then left to our own devices as the lady who owns it lives next door (but only a phonecall away should you need anything). I loved this place, I highly recommend a visit, it's only 10 minutes from the ce. όλα τα σχόλια »
Family run old Manor, welcoming, little home made cakes in the lovely hall. Sammie (daughter) and John (father) were so friendly and really made us feel at home. After a meal out we decided to go back to the Manor, where we found a courtesy box next to the fridge which held an array of different wines. So we bought s bottle and sat in the grand lounge over looking the beautiful gardens , so relaxing. Full Cheshire breakfast, home made bread, fresh eggs, field mushrooms mmmmm . We stayed two ni.
Staff were friendly and very attentive. Did their best to make us feel comfortable and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We had the balcony room overlooking the garden, good size with an en-suite and the night cap was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious - on the final morning the breakfast room was full (only 4 tables) so we ate out on the terrace much to the jealousy of the other guests. Could easily charge more for what you get - highly recommended.
Mickle Trafford was a fantastic place to stay and we will be returning.
Sam was a delight, friendly and helpful with lots of advise on taxi's etc
The room was beautiful with a stunning view from the balcony.
The room was clean and in perfect order.
The breakfast was superb - the locally produced sausages were sublime!
I wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the lounge and experienced the spa and sauna.
Ease of access to town and country. Excellent standards in every way - facilities, food, friendly and helpful staff. Very highly commendable. We look forward to another visit when we can make it.
Outstanding friendly and a superb location. Made very welcome by Sam and
shown facilities available. This establishment looks great in the advert
and does not disappoint . I would recommend the Manor to any visitor.
Very friendly staff. Rooms had great character. Breakfast was excellent
and the little cakes for afternoon tea were superb. Great for Manchester
and Chester visits, with cycle path to north Wales just up the road.
Beautiful house, log fire as you go in. Rooms big and very comfortable. Great location 10 mins outside Chester , best use the park and ride if going inti town. Lovely breakfast will go back for sure.
Fabulous master bedroom, lovely big soft bed, exposed oak beams throughout, sunken bath for two people, power shower. Sammie was a great host, very welcoming and just let us come and go as we pleased.
The room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and very relaxed. The location was great. The building was beautiful and had lots of character.

We liked everything about this wonderful family run B&B. Absolutely lovely place and lovely people. Couldn't want for better.

It is simply one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at and I travel extensively in the UK.
This is the best hotel I've stayed in, couldn't do enough for you. Already planning to go back.

Friendly Staff in a beautiful Manor house.
everything there was nothing to dislike.
Very welcoming and first class rooms.
The huge bed and balcony.
Room size.
Location.
Sammie very friendly and helpful. Good sized bedroom, pleasant lounge and garden.
This is NOT, (as we had expected from your details) as their own details state clearly it is not, an hotel but a (first rate) B and B- so only breakfast provided. Light needed above mirror in our en suite- for us who have to shave, and here and there a few small maintenance jobs need attention, though these are very minor drawbacks to an otherwise excellent top class B and B.
Was perfect.
No real downsides at all.
The hot tub was having some work and I expected a few more toiletries.
Bathroom a little dated but still in good condition and very nice in general. Well appointed with huge bath and shower. Very little to complain about though...I would stay again!.
Nothing it was faultless.
Nothing.
Limited parking.
En-suite separated off by only
a curtain. No towel rail. Extractor fan only works if someone is under the shower or in the bath. Breakfast very average.
