This family-run Victorian guest house has free parking and modern rooms each featuring a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Chester’s historic centre is just a mile away. A DVD player, CD player, iron and tea and coffee facilities are provided in each room at the Victoria Lodge Guest House. The bathroom in every bright and airy room includes a hair dryer. The Lodge’s friendly owners offer a tasty home-cooked traditional English breakfast every morning, served in the charming dining room. Well-placed to get into Chester’s city centre, a main bus service passes outside the house. The impressive Cathedral is just a 5-minute drive away. Chester Rail Station is a mile’s walking distance, whilst the famous Chester Racecourse is a 5-minute drive away.

As soon as you walk through the front door you are made to feel really welcome. The hosts were wonderful with lots of helpful information regarding the area. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, the en-suite was a great size with a fantastic shower. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic with lots of variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Lodge Guest House and would definitely stay again!.

The owners are friendly and welcoming, all of the rooms are generous sizes and there is nothing that you need that isn't provided. Vast selection for breakfast which us delicious. Beautiful building and decor and quiet considering on a busy road. It isn't licenced but there is a pub directly opposite. All in all a very charming place. Richard contacted us before arrival to find out how early we would be there. Perfect because we had to change into our glad rags for the races. Excellent breakfast - comfy quiet room minutes from city centre. Great location, really enjoyed the breakfast and the owners very friendly and personable. Unfortunately, they are trying the sell the property, hopefully the next owners do as good a job. Very comfortable. Fabulous small Bed n Breakfast within easy walking distance of the city centre. We were made very welcome and had a superb breakfast to start the day. Recommended and will certainly book again. the guest house is very clean with spaciouse, comfortable well appointed rooms and A very good breakfast. owners very nice and free parking only 15 minute walk into centre.
