Fern Lee Guest House is a Victorian property situated in the historic city centre of Carlisle, with easy access from Junction 43 of the M6 Motorway. Both the train and bus station can be reached in a 10-minute walk. Free parking is available on site, as well as secure bicycle storage.
Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room, as well as an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room also features a flat-screen TV.
A full English, continental or vegetarian breakfast is served each morning, and all are made from fresh, local produce. An assortment of books and games are provided for guest's entertainment.

The location was quite excellent, not far from the bus or railway station, about 10 mins walk to city center and main attraction. The room was spacious and well decorated, our hostess,Debbie offered still water and biscuits everyday to make our stay more comfortable.There is also a guest lounge on the ground, warm,quiet,and there are many reference and books on the table which could help one to plan the trip. Debbie gave us a really warm welcome, and knowing we were in Carlisle for a funeral, was caring and sympathetic throughout our stay. Our room was immaculate, well presented, warm and comfortable and the breakfast was a good English, delicious and well cooked. Definitely recommended.
Debbie, the new owner was very welcoming and pleasant throughout our stay. Parking space great. Good choice of cereals yoghurt fruit and of course cooked breakfast. We left behind a jacket and Debbie phoned us to let us know and is posting it back to us. Very helpful lady!.
fantastic could not fault our stay. Allowed us to check in early and was there anytime we needed them. Great breakfast too and great room with four poster bed and double shower. Will certainly stay again.

This more than a B&B. It is more like a small hotel with excellent facilities and very good parking.

You could hear the traffic on the road outside our bedroom but that was probably because we like to sleep with the window slightly open and the guesthouse is on a reasonably busy road.
