Bert and his staff are very welcoming and will do everything they can to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The Madrugada has been beautifully renovated and the rooms, albeit small, are well presented and have nice bathrooms. Breakfast is good and there is sufficient choice to meet most needs. -

Everything was just perfect! The room was really big, very clean and extremly quiet. The minibar was great and the prices were pretty good too (bottle of beer 2 euro) The staff were the friendliest people and very helpful and kind. Superb location for nature travelers and even shoppers / beach lovers (although I didn't visit any beach). Very nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, very nice and clean rooms, very spacious, separate entry, perfect parking place (private yard), excellent views.. We really did love it!
And yes, special thanks to the manager for hospitality and advice where to stay two more nights nearby, because this hotel was already booked (no wonder why!).

The apartment was excellent. Great view across the bay, very well appointed, very clean & very comfortable. A great location close enough to the beach & other facilities whilst just far enough away from the noisier nightlife! Nice to lie by the quiet pool and still be able to hear the sea! You wont find a better self-catering facility this

No real reception. There was a problem on arrival. Either letsbookhotel.com
didn't confirm our booking or the apartments didn't make a note
of it. A Spainish guy made great efforts to help, but communication was
a problem. His English was as good as my Spanish. Then a German guy,
Ivan (Manager??) sorted it and from then on all was excellent.

We were only there for two days, but the staff were excellent, extremely considerate during a difficult stay for us (death in the family). They left us breakfast in our rooms as we had to leave early in the morning, and let us check in the morning after our arrival as we arrived late. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of the old town just minutes away from bars and restaurants. The hotel is inside the walls of Morella and in a beautiful location. The staff were extremely helpful and although there is no parking at the hotel you can drop off bags at the door and the staff will assist. The building itself is very interesting - a bit like stepping back in time but with luxury thrown in. We were pleased to see that as part of the big refurb carried out recently, they must have upgraded the beds which are now really comfy (unlike when we stayed there about 4 years ago when the beds were so hard, we couldnt sleep) We decided to have breakfast and it was excellent. One of the reviews said it was "very basic but to be expected for the cost" We paid 8.80 euros each and found it good
