Location is literally right around the corner from gothic quarters, 5 minutes from Picasso Musuem, 8 minutes from Plaza Catalunya. It was safe and clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. they will email you a week before you arrive to get your arrival time. -

I am rating this place before getting there, so it may be a little bit biased. Congratlations to the company for having such wonderful employees. - The staff were fantastic, and the rooms were kept very clean and tidy all the time. The apartment was half the price of two hotel rooms in the Gothic Quarter for our party of 5. The location was great, but it was a 5-8 minute walk from where we had to pick up our key, so it was a haul because we had a TON of luggage and 2 people in their 70s. Simple sleek minimal style accomodation. We had attic apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find a great outdoor terrace with loungers and table and stools. Great views amongst the rooftops of the barri gothic. Felt safe and secure. Helpful staff around most of the day. Pretty high up with massive drop off terrace so perhaps not great if your kids are naughty and don't listen to your absolute rules re looking over the edge! Great location even though the neighbourhood looks a little dodgy at first. 2 minute walk to the cathedral, 10 minute walk to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya and 15 minute walk to the beach. Clean apartment with all the basic furniture you need. -

PCs for guests, free internet, nice library where you could connect your own PC, mini-bar (soft drinks) included in the price of the room. Very stylish hotel, with lots of candles to counter-balance the cool image. Fantastic roof-top pool (even better if heated, we could not use it in February...)!
