The 4* Gran Hotel Ocean Resort is situated in Costa Adeje, in the South of Tenerife. The hotel consists of a main central building which houses the reception and communal areas. Leading from this area are 2 wings where the rooms and suites are situated. Tenerife benefits an unbeatable climate, where the winters are warm and the summers are pleasant. Called the island of eternal spring, Tenerife has an ideal average temperature of 23C.

The level of cleanliness was very good. Staff were pleasant. Accommodated on first floor as requested. Most of the parasols around the pool area were torn and dirty and didn't reflect the four star rating of this hotel. There was also a shortage of parasols and sunbeds around the main pool. Requested a parasol at Reception but none were available. I also discovered graphic porn channell on Tv, requested its removal as we had 2 teenagers with us, 3 visits to Reception before channel was removed.

Amidst the lush and extensive gardens with subtropical plants, fountains is the heated (during) sweet water swimming pool which have panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean onto the distant horizon. A children’s pool is also available for the young hotel guests. Other sports facilities which the hotel offers are two floodlit tennis courts, 1 volleyball court, billiards, a multi sports area including a circuit track, fitness, archery, chess, and a mini club. There is an International entertainment programme for both adults and children. The Wellness & Spa is a special attraction.
