and were a pleasure not just to meet but to chat to. The views from the

The hosts, Jill and Alan are extremely hospitable and it was truly a pleasure knowing them. Jill makes incredible breakfast, and both of them make us feel very much at home. I have stayed in a few bed and breakfast before, and I have had the best experience with Jill and Alan.
They are also very knowledgeable people, and their home consist of souvenirs from their travel. Every little thing in the house, has a bit of history (and maybe mystery) behind them.

Lovely room, very clean! Room serviced every day with fresh towels. Loved the spa bath and sky t.v for relaxing when not sightseeing. Nice to be provided with complimentary milk, filter coffee, biscuits etc. Great location, within walking distance of Napier town, i site, aquarium, beach and other points of interest. John, the owner is very helpful, great for advice on wine tours, restaurants etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The staff were incredible. The place has everything you could want in a stay. Laundry machines all free (and full sized) parking, caring staff. Duvets sheeting and towels really good quality. Lots of fresh air!! -

I loved the ambiance of the hotel, it was classic Edwardian style but comfortable. Quiet, spacious room and the extra touches such as the welcome letter, email upon return to home and those lovely personal touches ceratinly makes we want to return for a longer stay. The food in the Chambers restaurant was just lovely and the staff were fantastic,

Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Hotel had all facilities
expected of a hotel at the tariff rate. Staff were friendly and
courteous. Nice extra was the morning letter delivered to the room
advising of daily events in the city and forecast weather.

Adored the location - given a room right on the Ocean view - rooms are just suburb and luxurious - one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in AND THE PILLOWS....WOW!!! Loved them so much we are ordering a couple through your Crown Hotel to be sent to us. -

We stayed at this hotel because we love the ambience and the art deco style in particular. This was about the best hotel I have ever stayed in! It was beautiful, beautifully renovated, comfortable, fabulously located and the staff were fantastically friendly and helpful, and appeared to love being at the hotel, as we did. Loved the upstairs balcon

Wonderful location overlooking the Marine Parade. Loved the art deco style, which was why we booked, so accepted the 1930's bathroom facilities as authentic, even though not luxurious. Our room had access to the balcony, a lovely feature, and was cool even though weather was hot. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, excellent food, although would have liked more light to see what I was eating. Parked on nearby street, no problems. Very good value hotel.

Arrived from Auckland a couple of hours early before checkin time but was able to checkin as room was ready, loved that as was exhausted from a long trip down with the kids. Room clean & very comfortable for our family. Host was very hospitable. Enjoyed our stay very much along with the beautiful Hawkes Bay weather. -

The team were lovely - very welcoming and helpful. The room was large and spacious, very clean and everything worked well. The Quest is a 5 min walk from the intercity bus stop and supermarket, and in a quiet part of town, but easy to walk out for dinner. -
