The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam!
The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day.
The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy. If it got too hot t

In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! -
Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10

I was overwhelmed by the value and comfort of this hotel. Rooms are extremely clean and well equipped, as are the bathrooms, breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps.

Let's be clear - this is a budget hotel. Basic furnishings, shared bathroom. If this is what you are after this is a very good choice. Great location. Tram at door. Three major museums no more than 500 m away, canals also, supermarket nearby, plenty of food options, and the wonderful vondelpark. Good basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Clean facilities. Good vibe.

Really great value, especially with breakfast included. Our room was quite small but was really nicely furnished, felt comfortable and was clean. We liked the friendliness of the staff and the location. Also, eventhough the rooms are small (so are WC and shower), it was clean and and we felt comfortable for 3 nights. The location is very central and everything is in a walkable distance. -
Quiet area yet very close to Central Station. My luggage was stored there for 1/2 day after check-out.

Try to get room number 1, (smoking allowed & your own shower/toilet)... the view from the window is something else! There's no food provided but hotel Alfa is beside a decent café. It's also only 2 minutes away from the train station & you only have to walk around the corner for your nearest smoke. The man running the place was very pleasa

Our room was really clean, nice size, the staff where lovely and location was AMAZING! We stayed in the twin room and is exactly as the picture shows! Ignore the comment about about the building being old and decaying. It is old like many houses in the dam but not decaying!

The Corner House Hotel is perfect for exploring the wonderful city of Amsterdam. Round the corner from Dam Square and with a Tram stop right on the doorstep, the Corner House hotel offers all you possibly need for a wonderful stay. Further to this the hotel is walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal train station.

Stair -
One of the best locations being close to Central Station, Dam Square is 2 minute walk, all kinds of shops, restaurants, Anne Frank house and grocery store nearby. In room showers are very nice, Mark who manages the hotel is very nice, helpful and polite. Jasmine who is works in the wait staff is very nice, friendly and also well informed about the area. Would stay here again.

it was simple and clean, everything we wanted and literally next door to pink floyd and popeye so great location, ill be going back in march, great place - Its location, near Amsterdam Centraal railway station, was a plus. The room was small but adequate.
