This hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam just a 4-minute walk from Rembrandtplein. Residence Le Coin offers bright rooms with a kitchenette. Tram stop Muntplein is a 1-minute walk. Each light decorated room features exposed wooden beams and have large windows. They also offer a seating area and a private bathroom which is fitted with a bath or shower. You can prepare simple meals in the kitchenette which has an electric stove, refrigerator and kitchenware. A wide variety of cafes and restaurants are located in the direct surroundings. From Muntplein you have direct access by tram to Central Station, Anne Frank House and the Heineken Experience. Leidseplein is a 10-minute walk. From there it is 3 minutes more to Museumplein.

The hotel was in a great location in the center of town. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Amsterdam Centraal train station. The staff was very helpful. They let us store our luggage in their back room prior to check-in so we did not have to carry it around town. They were able to book our tours at the front desk. The rooms are atypical for a hotel as they were once used as short-term apartments. Upon entry are two small doors in a tiny hallway, one to a very tiny room with a toilet and .

The location is the best you can get in Amsterdam - close to all touristic attractions, shopping, restaurants and so on, as it is right in the middle of the city. In the same time, it's far enough from the hustle and bustle of Dam Square, Red Light District or the trams and cars to be decently quiet. The room had a kitchenette, too, so you could make some tea or coffee or keep some food in the fridge. The floor heating system was qui. We loved the staff specially Dimitri. The hotel is in the heart of Amsterdam every time we went back to the hotel we were amazed how close it is to everything. The tween room on the first floor is big and comfy and includes a small sitting area, a desk with 2 chairs, 2 doors closet and a well equipped kitchen which was perfect for us (we have arrived with a three month old baby) the room with a baby crib and our stroller still didn't fill crowded. The hotel has an elevator, washing and drying m. My friend and I got a room in the upper floor. It was fully facilitated with a nice kitchenette and a double bed located upstairs in a mezzanine. The room was very spacious, clean and warm. The staff was friendly and answered every inquiry or request we had. On top of everything is the great location of the hotel, that is right in front of a tram stop and a walking distance from both Dam Sqaure and Leidesplein. Wonderful hotel in an excellent location! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and put us in a quiet room as we're travelling with my six-month-old daughter. The room was spotlessly clean, very well laid out and very spacious (with lovely big windows too). We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking at Hotel Residence Le Coin on our next trip to Amsterdam! Thank you for a wonderful time!!. If you prefer big room, kitchenette, laundry, 5 min walk to subway or shopping street or supermarket, 5-20 min walk to almost everything, to sleep in still place (quite good soundproof), you'll get it here. Staff is actually helpful and friendly (they brought me extra facilities like microwave, for example). Hairdryer is installed. We spent two nights at this hotel and it was perfect, the location was ideal and only a twenty minute walk from Central Station. Our suite was beautiful so much space and sparkling clean! Staff were most helpful and gave us all the information and advice that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon. My favorite accommodation I ever stayed in Amsterdam! great location, right in the heart of the city and we had beautiful canal view! the room is large but cozy. the hotel is full of charm and character; very good standard of cleaning; stuff are very friendly and ready to help Loved it! My husband and I liked the chic foyer and lovely wooden staircase, although we did use the lift later in the evening, Our room, although small, had a very high ceiling with beams which gave an effect of space. Very clean, plenty of storage space. Free wireless. Absolutely ideal for a weekend stay in Amsterdam. Dimitri was very helpful in giving us tips on restaurants and hotspots. Water pressure in the shower was good. Room was comfortable and spacious, and though we didn't use the kitchenette, it was nice to have the option. Location was great. Very clean, in the very center of Amsterdam, 10 minutes from the Centraal Station and the staff very friendly. And cheap ! What more ? I recommend it to everyone, all ages, with children or not. Perfect location not far from the central station and close to the most important sightseeings (achievable by using pubblic means or by feet). Nice and polite staff. Though it was a comfortable room, it could really use a makeover. The shower could use a curtain which curves outward - it got a bit too friendly with us ha ha!. Nothing, this place is wonderful. No doublebed. Two single beds attached to each other. no escalator to 4th floor and narrow stairs - that not very much comfortable for getting up of luggage. The staircase up to the bedroom in our first room was lethal, but younger people would probably find it fun. The staff insisted on moving us a much better room when we told them we'd brought the mattresses down to sleep downstairs!. The rooms could do with a bit of a facelift, but they are fine. Back rooms are best for the views and quiet. The breakfast could be a bit better, though it is ok, and some of the staff can be a bit abrupt and formal (even by Dutch standards). . . . Just to be clear, I'm not young so my two complaints are the ventilation was not sufficient for the big, lovely room and the step- up, step-down for bath, vestibule and room. A fan would help at least in the room. It is a pretty good hike from central station. Suggest you take a cab or tram. the beds were too soft for my personal taste. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable but otherwise nothing to complain about. Some dust in the room but it was acceptable. No double bed, just two singles. A minor glitch, however . The only missing thing: a microwave oven. Early morning it is very noisy outside - but nothing earplugs don't cure. No microwave in the room. Iron was in the basement. Breakfast was overpriced. Thought the tarrif was expensive. The single beds were not comfortable,. Nothing. Ot was great. The fact that breakfast wasn't included at price paid. Climbing steep ladder to get to our mezzanine bed at our age(69) could have been dodgey if we hadn't been reasonably fit! You should warn people before allocation of a room like this. nothing. There were steps immediately inside the door and a step up to the bathroom. We were there for leisure and we had a few drinks and so it was hard not to trip on the steps. BUT....we would still use the hotel again....the staff were great and the place was clean. It was pretty hot during our time there, the hotel did not have central air, or fans. Alos, complimentary coffee inthe morning would be nice. There was no A/C in my room, so on a hot days it is an inconvenience. Additionally the street is quite loud so after opening the windows you need stoppers to get some sleep. The street is quite noisy and I was woken up when I could not close the double glazing. I would not want to stay there in hot weather as you have to close the double glazing and there is no air conditioning. there was no air conditioning. A bit too noisy but it is a City and I could have asked for a quieter room but for one night did not mind. Nothing. Little noisy if you have a room with view on the channel.
