This was a great place to stay. I was recommended Palazzo Citta Valletta by a friend who had stayed there a couple of years ago. Franck was hands down the highlight of our stay, extremely attentive, generous with his time, ready to play concierge if need be, and a marvelous point of entry into Maltese history and culture. reception staff was really helpfull - The hotell had a great position in St. Julians, the room was simple but good enough to make your own breakfast.

Good, clean, basic accommodation, no frills, but most things you needed were supplied. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to several superettes for supplies, and also near bus stops. Only a 5 minute walk from the main town square, the sea and restaurants. -

Liked everything about this little hotel! Arrived late at night - no problem, the hotel had been in touch prior to arrival which made us feel really welcome. I loved it. The whole staff made me feel as I was part of the family. It looks like a family run business. They cooked breakfast for me everyday and they took it to my room free of charge. Lovely staff. Facilities are good, bear in mind that it is a simple hotel, not a 5 star, but has everything you need if you are on holidays. Very friendly hosts who truly enjoy running their BnB.
Lovely and quiet home, beautiful garden. Spacious, very calm, and absolutely spotless bedroom and private bathroom.
Breakfast is home-made (BBQ) and served on the terrace.
You will find everything you need here. Roger and Maria have a great attention to details, which we highly appreciated. You will also be able to rent a car easily through them (which I would recommend for a trip to Malta).

The guesthouse location is great. It is in Xemxija, St. Pauls Bay, which is not crowded. There is a restaurant at the ground floor and few places to eat around. The place is calm and with the nice view to the bay with the boats there.
The staff in the reastaurant (there You have to go for the key or if You have any problems) is really courteous. The room was tidy.

IL-GIRNA Residence is a Guest House with 5***** Attitude and Service
Marie, the owner, with her warm freindly personality, couldn't do enough for her guests. She made you feel like it was your home too.

Il-Girna II Residence is situated in a quiet location with ample parking space around. One has the possibility of going for a walk with breathtaking views of the countryside or else head towards Ta' Cenc cliffs, both of which are advisable to wear comfortable footwear.

It was spotless clean, change of sheets and towels twice in 9 days, very well equipped, very confortable. The day of leaving the allow you to use the hotel facilities, swimming pools etc, they even have a luggage room by a bathroom with shower and facilities to get ready prior to leave. The farmhouse was spacious,comfortable and very well equipped with private pool and sunbeds. Monica was most helpful with booking trips, taxis and any other queries (although the square is only a ten minute walk). The starter food pack was so welcome on arrival off a late flight.
We (four ladies) loved this spacious accommodation but it would also be ideal for a family.
