Very close to Asakusa and Ginza metro lines which get you a lot of places very easily. Staff spoke some english but I get the impression this hotel is more oriented towards local or business travel. They were very friendly and helpful however, and stored our luggage for us after we checked out while we were out. Rooms were spotlessly clean, and

Rooms were clean, compact, and modern. The bed mattress was fabulous and water pressure was great. The staff was very pleasant and tried everything possible to assist. We were about 10-15 minutes from Tokyo Station and taxi costs ranged from 840-1360 yen depending on which exit you were picked up from.

There were many things I liked as you can see from the rating. The staff, in particular, were friendly and very helpful. They provide a great map of the surrounding area. This was my second time staying in Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, but my first time staying in the dorm. It's a great hotel, very clean, free wifi and they have converters at the front desk for your electronics. It's really close to Ikebukuro station and there's a lot of good restaurants around and staff available 24 hours a day.

The staff were excellent. The service, especially by the front desk staff was amazing-always ready and quick to assist whenever needed. The hotel location-close to both Mita and Tamachi train stations- is very convenient. This is a lovely hotel by any standards. I'd definitely stay here again whenever I'm back in Tokyo. -

Staff was super helpful with anything! Recommended trips from personal experiences, offered umbrellas on rainy days, helped uncommom requests and even kept me company when I was sitting in the hotel cafe alone one day, chit chatting. Extremely close to the station, on which the Yamanote line stops. Has countless of good restaurants and shopping possibilities, especially if you are into Korean things as Shin Okubo is Korean Town. All the people are so friendly
Easy access to the metro

The location was fairly good, not far from Nakameguro station and right by a great tree-lined canal that parallels the main road if the days are hot. The hot baths are now for both genders (at different times).

The location of this hotel is amazing. In 5 min walking distance from two JR Yamanote line stations and Ginza line subway station. It's basically in the Ameyoko, Ueno park is really close, Akihabara is 10-15 min walk away and Asakusa cca 30 min walk away. The location is great. It's really near to the JR train Okachimachi station, and just minutes walk to A8 exit from subway. Once you get to the underground, the signs are helpful and intuitive in getting to the stations you wanted. The breakfast is provided, which is quite a surprise. Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English.
