The staff at Gion Maifukan could not have done enough to help us. They were attentive without being intrusive and after the first night moved us to a bigger room to accommodate the four of us.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The location was very easy, we just took the subway to reach Kokusaikaikan and the directions on the subway took us directly to the hotel. It was a very comfortable and nice room, with free internet. The buffet downstairs was very good for dinner and the surrounding environment was very nice and green. As my older daughter was in the room one day, they didn' t have oppurtinity to clean the room, so they presented us 500 JPY gift check for it.

Check in/out with storage service at Kyoto train station is a really convenient one. The rooms are surprisingly big and cozy with superb city view. Location is excellent to access the Nanjio temple and other famous spot. Dining and caual walking in this area are superb. -

located near a subway station and the hotel shuttle helps you get to the

The hotel is in a perfect location - right opposite the Kyoto station. The station itself is an excellent place for shopping and eating. In front of the hotel is the bus station, which has the buses that will take you to all the sights in Kyoto. Basically, the location of the hotel cannot be better.

I stayed at Kyoto Tower Hotel for two nights during May. The greatest thing about this hotel is that it's very near to kyoto station and bus stop. So it's really easy for travellers to buy a one-day bus sight-seeing ticket to tour around all kyoto sights in convenience. And with JR pass, it's easy to travel to Nara and Osaka via railway. The hotel was excellent value for money and the buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious.
The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, with more space than expected.
The staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
The hotel also runs a frequent shuttle bus too and from the JR Kyoto train station which is very convenient. -

The hotel is nice and our room (two adults and two kids) was quite
large. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We never ate at any of
the hotel restaurants and so cannot comment. As with other Japan hotes

Imperial Palace and short taxi rides to the Golden and Silver temples. -
The concierge was amazing! The purpose of my vacation was to see the
temples, see the Gion district, and dress up like a Geisha. She
helped me to plan everything with the buses, trains, taxis, etc. She
had maps for me in English that were extremely helpful. The hotel is
centrally located near the main attractions of Kyoto making it ideal
for my vacation.

The hotel's location was great. It was in the Gion area, a few
blocks away from Gion's corner. In front of the hotel bikes are
available to rent which is very convenient to visit the shrines which
are far away. The hotel rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The
