  The owners were amazing! Bent over backwards for us. Spoke reasonable English. Drove us into town to a restaurant for dinner and then picked us up when we called, being our own personal taxi. Gave us a tour of his family mansion which was built in the 1700's. Amazing history and architecture. Most enjoyable, and quite an experience. Totally ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » different!! - The setting was peaceful. The rooms were elegant. The owner (s) were extremely helpful, kind,attentive and made the stay most pleasurable. The breakfast, served in our room, was delicious and meticulously prepared. I highly recommend staying at Agriturismo Villa Gropella especially if you are a romantic or historian, or both.
